i have been thinking about la squadra in eyes of heaven all day and i figured that some of them would unfortunately be subject to the freaky mind control. then i got thinking about sorbet and gelato and the whole “has to fight a mind controlled loved one” trope. which lead to this because i think they’re aware there are stand users who can control people and have agreed not to hold back if a situation like this happens.
Here’s a headcanon of mine: I think Diavolo hired Tiziano and Squalo to make up for the lost PR from murdering Sorbet and Gelato. It’s like the mafia equivalent of corporate pride

>People when they realize that making Melone straight up s/a ghiaccio and sexually harass him is hurtful to the LGBT community and furthers the sterotype that all gay men are rapists and pedos

>People when they realize that Ghiaccio doesn’t get angry all the time, and that while he can have a bad temper that doesn’t make up his whole character
