5 years ago (2017), on this day (April 4), Johnny Depp and Joe Perry were the special guests on Patti Smith’s show, at the Teragram Ballroom, Los Angeles, California. 

On that day, Johnny and Joe played guitar on the last two songs: during Patti’s 1998 song “People Have the Power” and during Patti’s cover of The Who’s “My Generation”
