Installed a recessed plate on the side of the electrical cabinet. This allows the adjacent cabinet housing the refrigerator, to plug into the 12v socket with the wires hidden.

If you’re going to do your own wiring, I’d recommend using all duplex wire. The wire runs end up cleaner, you can skip the process of twisting and taping wires together, and you get the added safety of vibration protection. We didn’t reach our goal of finished lighting but, we did finish electrical rough in and testing.
