Rey is in the same study group as Poe and Finn and they immediately became friends. They often spend time in the library (they skip some classes there, but please don’t tell Dean Orson Krennic about it!), leaf through books with strange names and study dead languages out of pure interest (they actually study Parseltongue, again, please don’t tell Professor Krennic!)

Why is Rey studying Parseltongue and all that? To scare her older brother Kylo with forbidden spells, of course.
