no because im thinking about steve yzerman drafting nikita kucherov because he reminded yzerman of sergei fedorov. im thinking about nikita and his mother going to sergei, who was nikita’s gm at cska moscow, to ask if tampa and steve would take care of nikita bc they were hesitant about tampa and sergei telling nikita to go. im thinking about nikita breaking everyones expectations and going from an unknown russian prospect to a guaranteed hall of famer, just like sergei. and now nikita has become the first player since sergei to have twenty points in three consecutive playoffs
