Stained Glass Marvel Ship 2: this time it’s stucky.
I struggled a little bit with the colours for Bucky in this but I decided the best thing to do would be to honour his time in Wakanda.

prompt #1: stucky reincarnation au in which bucky actually died during the fall and got reincarnated 70 years later with the same face, different name. it just so happened that at the same time, steve was recovered from the ice after being frozen for decades.

Ok I’m all down for trans Peter Parker but consider this: trans Steve Rogers.

Trans Steve that joins the military not just because he hates Nazis, but because he wants to prove his manliness by fighting against what he hates and for what he believes in.

Trans Steve that also (admittingly) joins the military to be able to medically transition, since the military would cover HRT and all the surgeries he wants.

Pre-Serum trans Steve getting in fights and beat up often not just because he is short and weak, but also because he is trans and people during WWII were tremendously transphobic towards him.

Trans Steve being judged harshly and mercilessly by several characters and other recruits because he’s trans, which is why he tries to prove himself so badly.

Trans Steve being given the opportunity to take a serum (aka HRT but 10000x more potent) by Dr Erskine not just because he sees his potential as a soldier, but because he knows that Steve deserves to transition and be happy in his body.

Trans Steve supporting all the trans, nonbinary and gender non-conforming kids at the MCU because he too was once a trans kid in need.

Additionally, bi trans Steve and pan Bucky Barnes falling in love with each other, since Bucky had feelings for Steve even before he knew he was trans, and his feelings didn’t change after knowing either.

Trans Steve being enraged at waking up seventy years later only to find that his rights as a trans man haven’t advanced nearly as much as he would have expected, and that a lot of his non-passing siblings are discriminated on a daily basis.

Trans Steve being a trans icon against transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia, and all the other avengers see and respect him for the man he is.

Just. Trans Steve being the trans Marvel captain we deserve. If you can headcanon Peter, a skinny, younger kid as a trans man, then you can headcanon a full manly man as cap as trans too. We trans men come in all sizes and wear all kinds of suits.
