There are certain things that tend to make us concerned or that we worry about. This is a natural thing, but sometimes it becomes too much and we need to let go of it. I personally suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD…so I have a lot of worrying that I do. So while I’m using modern medicine to help me stay healthy, sometimes we need something a little magical, this is where the worry box comes in. 

The box I have is a small wooden coffin with a clasp to keep it closed. What I do, is I tear off a piece of paper and I write down my worry, one per paper (Examples: Finding a job, someone who is annoying lately, fears about the future, fears or worries about health, etc). Anything that is on your mind that isn’t helping you, goes into this box. 

Then when you write it down, let it stay in the box. Make sure you tell it that it will remain in the box. Then, at the end of each month or every new moon take the paper and SAFELY burn each piece of paper, and imagine the worries being burnt away and out of your life.

It’s something small, but it’s helped me wonderfully. So figured maybe someone can benefit from it.
