Happy new year! I’ve had some trouble sitting down for personal art since the start of new year as the family had been so occupied with construction, and I fell ill. I still would like to thank everyone who helped with our financial trouble during the aftermath of the storm. But hey, new trailer on the Cuphead Show huh? I’m hyped, again, for the 3rd time in 5 years it seems. I also love that Cuphead has more of an asshole kinda energy compared to the game. I’m here for it. LESGO

“When we were designing Cuphead, we wanted the game to be more reaction-based than just straight memorization. Great games like Contra III/Hard Corps mainly used repeating patterns that appeared in the same order every time - we feel this pattern formula tends to have less surprise on subsequent replays. ”

EARL GREY
He is a British singer-songwriter and pianist, with a pure, humble and calm heart, his music and his voice fall in love to even the purest being to the vilest. As a child he was an orphan, raised by nuns, he played the piano in the chapel, he also sang the choirs, and from there was the love for the piano, a great studio to be a music teacher, from there he traveled and taught in many schools earning love of miles of people, thus being a lone adventurous teacher, he arrived at Inkwell Island, to teach at the Inkwell art and music school, from there he meets Cuphead and Mugman, since both brothers are fascinated by the piano melody, asking Earl Gray who taught both of them to play the piano.

THE DEATH
(He is the principal villain in Cuphead “Dancing with the Death”) elegant, charismatic, singer, partying, sublime dancer and at the same time twisted, with a sense of black and macabre humor. The Death, a skeleton that has a great scythe, he is in charge of taking the souls that are about to die where he takes them to trial if they go to heaven or hell, and from others those souls that are wandering aimlessly take them to the underworld Where is an underground city only if they pay the fee that are two gold coins with ruby otherwise it lets you wander in the land. The Death, has a tavern that is also a singing and dancing club where they do shows, from there they play their great purgatory orchestra of skeletons, and their caravan of allies who participate as well. This tavern is located in the underworld but there is a secret entrance near the large abandoned cemetery, you can only enter with two conditions if you have two simple gold coins and that you are dead otherwise if you enter without complying you will be punished by the bodyguard who cares. The Death is a cousin of the Devil and only sings occasionally in the Casino as a hobby. To defeat Death you have to defeat him in the 1 phase in a dance competition and then in the 2 phase a battle against him and his skeleton orchestra, if you lose your soul it will be part of purgatory if you win your soul is saved.

ANISE CHAMOMILE
Anise, it is a beautiful cup of fine porcelain, it is intelligent, very loyal to its friends, it is very kind but it has a strong and firm character, from time to time it makes mischief even in getting into trouble but it manages to solve it. Anise although she doesn’t have the ability to shoot, she uses his headband spoon as a sword to defend himself, even Anise has the ability to move quickly and jump. She loves to dance and sing, even defying Lord Death in a dance competition.

CUPHEAD, MUGMAN & MR KAPPU (This character is from a cartoon called, Evil Mickey Attack Japan, this cup man was one of the main characters who were inspired to create Cuphead and Mugman. I don’t know what it’s called, so I call it Kappu which means cup but written in Japanese, I wanted to recreate this character by giving it color and details.)

HORACE ORANGE
He is an anthropomorphic male orange, and is the second cousin of Mac Apple. Horace lives in a small house near the orange trees, is kind but is especially nervous when he is upset and scared to see other people eating oranges. Horace is able to give coins in exchange for help with orange trees such as planting them or finding the oranges he loses. Horacio has the ability to shoot with a slingshot orange seeds that explode. When Horace was little, he went on adventures with his cousin Mac, such as running, jumping and shooting.

CARVINGTON SILVERWORTH
He is a very elegant silver carving fork, he is proud to be a millionaire and to be the best in everything, which leads to being very presumptuous, an example he is the best dancer, he has a ballroom where only the best dancers attend. Carvington has the ability to use carving forks as weapons, he is the best fighter of rank A very high, he likes to fuse his fighting style with fencing and dancing in perfect synchrony thus maintaining his elegance. Carvington does not like to hang out with others very much since he considers them common, he only hangs out with those he considers special, that includes Anise with whom he always competes in dance and fights although deep down he likes her a lot. Carvington is Forkington’s cousin between them there is much rivalry.

COFFEE JOE
It is an anthropomorphic male coffee pot. Joe is the merchant in town, he has a big store, where he sells food, potions and amulets. Joe is a good guy but he can be a bit curmudgeon, he is having little patience with the children when they come to his store.

MADAME SUGAR BAKER (“MA BAKER”)
She is a sugar bowl who likes to cook cupcakes and rich breads, she has a bakery near the fair. Sugar Baker, is an aunt of Teana and Anise, she loves and cares for her as if she were her own daughters, Sugar has a very sweet and loving heart with everyone but is also bittersweet with her enemies, she was better known as “Ma Baker” was a famous criminal who assaulted the wealthy people and helped the poor and the needy, the people loved her very much for that, but the gangsters including the police were very afraid of Ma Baker, she uses guns of ground paprika submachine guns and salt shakers as a pistol, when she committed a robbery she left a cookie with her initial “M”, she always escaped from prisons, they could never catch her. One day she got tired of being a criminal, left the city and went to the island to open a bakery as she always wanted but most importantly take care of her nieces.

WHISLY MOONSHINE
He is very big, strong and rude but he is a good boy with a pure heart, he likes to protect, help and care for his friends, he works as an assistant in a warehouse carrying very heavy barrels. Whisly hates abusers who annoy the helpless, he protects them by knocking down the abusers one by one. Whisly is shy and a bit embarrassing to chat but patiently takes confidence, likes to dance tango. His best friend is Earl Gray.

Teana Chamomile
She is the older sister of Anise Chamomile. Teana is a young adventurous explorer, very beautiful, brave, strong and brave, she likes to look for foreign objects and pick them up, she also helps other people to look for objects that they lost.
