This is actually something I wanted to talk about wrt this charm, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to!
At this time, I don’t have any plans to make a matching Seishirou for this charm. In the beginning I did want to make this a set for the main trio, and Subaru’s charm was actually double-sided, with a different image on the back:
However, I wasn’t as happy with the reverse side of the charm, and struggled to come up with matching images for both Hokuto and Seishirou. Over time, I grew attached to the idea of highlighting Subaru’s star theme (it’s one that’s very close to my heart), and also felt that there’s not nearly enough art celebrating Subaru as an individual anyway. So I decided instead to scrap my original idea to make the single Subaru charm that’s in my shop nowinstead.
So no, there won’t be a matching Seishirou. Not this time. I wanted to express my love and appreciation for his strength and his meaning to me as an individual on his own. Subaru deserves to let his own starlight shine, and that’s what this charm expresses for me. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating Subaru for himself too!
If you’ve been following my Twitter you already know this, but I just opened up shop on Tictail! Starting small while I still get things organized and figure out the process, but it only felt right for my first charm to be something Subaru related. I also wanted to put a little extra care into this design so it’s something that would feel special – for example the sky background is semi-transparent, so it almost feels like the star is really glowing (pictures really can’t do the effect justice)! I hope these charms are able to find good homes (Subaru deserves it tbh).

RedBubble Store now OPEN!!
Hi guys! Finally got my RedBubble store off the ground - It’s a small selection to start, but I’m hoping to be able to put more content up there in the coming months. Still putting a few finishing touches on some things, but I’m hoping to have my print store roll out in a few weeks as well. In the meantime, if there are any old pieces of mine that you like or would be excited to see me add or RedBubble (or make prints of), please let me know! I have some of my own ideas, but feedback is always helpful.

@vantasticmess and I had a Kuroshitsuji AU for SubKam that wasn’t really working well, so we recently decided to revamp it to the AU where Kamui is a bakeneko and makes a deal with post TB!Subaru where, if he doesn’t exorcise him Kamui will help Subaru “find the source of his suffering and end it”. To barely-just-got-his-cast-off Subaru, this sounds like a deal to help him find and kill Seishirou like he’d promised himself he would, but thank god for vague wording because it doesn’t really go like either of them expect it to.
Kamui is from the late Meiji/early Taishou period, and has been mostly in cat form for all that time, so he finds modern clothes needlessly difficult. He also hasn’t quite figured out how to lose the ears and tail in human form yet.
The first few days consist of him remaining in cat form and refusing to speak to Subaru when Subaru insists human souls are off the menu.

Nandarou in bird language: except my master, he believes he has the right to do whatever he wants
This is interesting part, because as omnyoji, Subaru is expected to lie about his birth date and place. It wouldn’t be impolite or pathological of him, but rather part of self-preservation as Seishirou said. And what’s more, Subaru lied about some things before, such with that girl in catatonia. While talking about her with Seishirou, Subaru said her words (“you’re not normal”) did hurt. But when she apologized to Subaru later on for hurting him, he lied he wasn’t hurt by her words at all.
Seishirou probably knows all data regarding Subaru due to connection he has with government as their assassin. So it makes sense he’d know what Subaru has lied about and what he hasn’t. But why birth place only and not date too?
It was Seishirou who asked him about birth date. Assistant asked him for birth place. That’s probably why he instinctively told true birth date to Seishirou, but when random person asked him for place, Subaru’s intuitive response based on feelings wasn’t triggered, instead strict behavior code (teachings by his grandmother) kicked in instead. This is all beyond sphere of consciousness, Subaru isn’t aware of any of background thought process occurring in mere seconds, so to speak. It’s a reflex. One based on emotions he’s yet to be aware of.
