Recently I sent out emails and messages to all backers with a survey via PledgeBox, to collect neccessary information about garment sizing and styles for those who pledged for Tshirts as well as to allow backers to purchase add-ons if they’d like! Symbi’s new friend was sent straight from heaven!~
I am so excited to announce Sugargelic Studios, a collaborative team made up of me SugarySymbiote and the one and only @angelbae.artist
Sugargelic will be working on and bringing forth new and fun collaboration peices between two artists, a fun and exciting combination of AngelBae’s soft and bubbly art style and my cute yet dark pastel works. Our goal is for us to start by working together to bring bigger projects to life through hard work and team effort, and to improve and enhance our own skills along the way on our journey. Right now we’re scheduled for Blerdcon 2020 and Youmacon 2020 as well, and are looking forward to applying and vending at other conventions as the year goes on! And don’t worry this doesn’t mean that Sugary will cease to exist, SugarySymbiote is and will always continue to make art works and products specifically for the brand.

This time of year is always hard for me, because the memories tied to it is full of trauma. I normally shut myself off and isolate heavily around this time due to this, but I’m trying to do better.

Also! I finally had a well needed surgery this past Tuesday and am currently recovering. I’m achy and sore but I’m happy to have put that behind me. Here’s hoping that it’s the start of a healthier life for me.
I’ll get back to working on kickstarter related things once I am healed up. It hurts a lot but I wanted to see if I could draw something despite not feeling my best.

Symbi the Bear Cub
She’s here and she’s chomky and she’s ready to heal your heart with love while clawing your pain away. It took a whole year after the Kickstarter to get The Baby™️ home and I can’t wait to get back to good health so that I can continue to fufill the pledges. Thank you everyone who supported the campaign to bring my baby to life as a plush backpack!

Some updates!
Kickstarter rewards will not start shipping out until after all items have been received and accounted for, and I’m also working on special packaging for the rewards as well. Things are still being shipped and processed as we speak but alas, the speed isn’t the best due to our global pandemic. I know that you have been waiting patiently for your Symbi goods to get to you and I promise that the wait will be worth it! Expect things to start being shipped around early September at the latest

Due to 7 backer pledges being dropped and never received, I am considering on offering kickstarter Symbi packs for sale on my webshop for those of whom missed out on participating and wanting any exclusive KS goods, to make up for those dropped pledges.
