I found this word watching Weathering with you. One of the main character of the anime is Hina, a ‘sunshine girl’ with the power of bringing sunny weather. 晴れ女 can be literally translated 'sunshine girl’, or 'sunny weather woman’.

雨女 literally means 'rain girl’ or 'rainy weather woman’. 雨女 (Ameonna) is also a legendary female spirit, described as a goddess from China’s Mount Wushan, who is a cloud in the morning and rain in the evening.

y'all ever think about how the sunshine girl x grumpy boy ship trope is internalized from a patriarchial society that validates and excuses the misunderstood angry loner man by making his violent choices the responsibility not of violent systemic structures by entirely of the single individual, re the empathetic kindhearted woman who can see past his gruff exterior to rescue the lonely boy underneath? that if more women took on the burden of exonerating and answering for angry men then they wouldn’t be so angry? that this expectation of women to save men with their natural empathy and social graces is also a direct stereotype of the same violent systemic structures that sell us the trope of the grumpy boy as the end all be all of romantic tropes? y'all don’t see the connection here?
