It was a disaster! How could the best hotel in Seoul - the best room hotel in Seoul - have an electricity malfunction while the VIP had just checked in? And she wasn’t answering the desperate door knocks of the staff.

What to do?

“Call Manager Kim! He’ll know how to deal with this! At least to ask permission to enter the room. What if she got electrocuted? What if she’s dead?”

The manager was Kim Junmyeon. Manager of the L7 Myeongdong by LOTTE. He was changing his clothes as his shift was over for the day. He was rubbing his neck when he tied his comfy Nikes ready to leave from the back door and call it a night. He tried to ignore his ringing phone but as the good employee he was he knew he had to answer.

“Yes, Baekhyun? You know I have fin-”

“The VIP! She’s not answering the door and the whole floor has no electricity! Hyung! I think she’s dead!”

“Ah please!” Yelled Junmyeon over the phone running to take the elevator.

Were you really dead? Or scared to death in the pitch black bathroom?

That was Manager Kim’s new task to figure out…

And he wasn’t a jerk. So your trip to Korea wasn’t in vain. Your wild crazy fantasy wasn’t that out of reach after all. You had the man you came here for and he left a note for you to call him. So all the investigations about Kim Junmyeon weren’t just a bunch of delusions your heart was playing on you.

Were you maybe destined? Did he know who you were also, and he was playing to see if you were in fact there for him? But how? How would he know such a thing?

It didn’t matter now, what mattered was that you had a note written by Junmyeon with his phone number and a little bunny drawn next to his name.

You removed the duvet from your body excitedly kicking your legs in the air as you whisper shouted covering your mouth. Like a teenager getting noticed by her crush.

Calm, you needed to calm down, but what if Junmyeon learned the purpose of your trip and discovered that you zoomed in on that one picture from the hotel presentation and instantly fell in love? Would he feel stalked? Overwhelmed? Cheated? Or maybe flattered?

You shook your head from all the negative thoughts taking your phone in hand thinking of what to write in the morning.

You: I saw your note [7:43 AM]

Junmyeon: YOU TEXTED ME! AM I DREAMING? [7::43 AM]

You: You’re not, but I thought you’d come yourself to wake me up or offer me breakfast like you said you would [7:45 AM]

Junmyeon: I didn’t know if you’d like me to come again. I swear I’m a good man and I feel like you’re a dream so I didn’t want to seem too annoying. I’ll send you breakfast right away [7:46 AM]

You: Only breakfast? [7: 47 AM]

Junmyeon: I’m really sorry, but my uncle has kind of punished me and I’ve been working since 4 AM. That’s why I left before having a real talk with you [7:48 AM]

You: There’s a board of management meeting today, I hope you know that much, and therefore you know this is being held because of me, right? [7:49 AM]

Junmyeon: Of course I know! I still can’t believe you even looked at me being such a VIP [7:49 AM]

You: So I’m expecting you to see you there [7:50 AM]

Junmyeon: I don’t think so… I’m not usually invited to those kind of meetings [7:51 AM]

It infuriated you, but you knew that you shouldn’t show that side of you when it came to work. You decided to not show how pissed you were, or at least not yet…

“Welcome to Korea, Miss ___.”

“Welcome to our humble hotel, Miss ___.”

“We hope your stay has been of your liking so far, Miss ___.”

“You’re joking, right?” You aired after scoffing while walking down the corridor being greeted and bowed at as you passed by.

Finally you made your grand entrance, hearing little gasps as you made your way spotting none other than Kim Junseo, Junmyeon’s uncle. His pointy and thick eyebrows were unmistakable.

“Welcome, Miss ___.” He bowed, taking your hand in a warm and sturdy handshake placing his other hand over yours as a sign of friendliness. “You look beautiful.” He commented, extending his hand to be seated at the head of the long meeting table, behind you your Korean speaking lawyer and secretary.

Yes, you were beautiful and you looked stunning today, you made sure of it. You sported a fitted simple black midi skirt with an equal fitted suit jacket. You decided to go for a manly look with a thin tie decorating the simple white shirt underneath. Your makeup, sharp and sexy. Despite the thick black framed glasses, your black cat eyeliner was visible and killing. Your lips were bright red, ready to be smudged by Junmyeon whenever you saw him again, which made it the perfect timing to ask about him while placing your suitcase next to your chair.

“Are we all present? Seems a bit too small of a meeting for such an event.” You looked right and left to find only secondary people standing around the table. “Are you the only shareholder?” You asked sarcastically, knowing very well Kim Junseo wasn’t.

“My two sons are studying abroad, and… my nephew… well he has shares, but he was responsible for what happened yesterday, and I do owe you an apology for what happened. Rest assured he has been punished and he’s currently working to make sure nothing like yesterday night’s incident will ever happen again.”

“Is that so?” You asked, crossing your fingers over the table. “So he’s a shareholder?”

Junmyeon’s uncle loosened his tie looking away trying to compose himself and sound as if he wasn’t at all bothered.

“He is.” He confirmed.

“Percentage?” You demanded.

At this stage Kim Junseo had to clear his throat in nervousness. “He owns 50%, however the customs in Korea state that the elder, in this situa-”

“Right.” You stopped him raising your hand. “I will not discuss anything without the presence of… what’s his name?” You inquired in your best acting voice.

“Junmyeon.” Junseo replied. “Junmyeon Kim is my nephew’s name.”

“Call him, even if he’s abroad or on his deathbed, call him. I can wait.” You relaxed in your seat.

“We don’t work like this in Korea. Our customs are different.” Junseo raised his voice.

“If he doesn’t come, I’m calling this meeting off. I’m saying this because you mentioned he’s working, so it means he’s here, so bring him over this instant.” You insisted.

“Foreigner women wouldn’t understand.” Junseo added nonchalantly.

“Excuse me!?” You yelled, standing.

“___.” Your lawyer called. “Please calm down.”

Junseo’s own secretary approached him whispering into his ear as the old man was having his own toddler tantrum.

“Please accept my apologies. Maybe the English description wasn’t the best, but Mr. Kim didn’t mean to offend you in any way or form.” His secretary tried earnestly to excuse his arrogant boss who happened to be poor Junmyeon’s uncle.

You looked at your watch exaggeratedly tapping on it. “Did you call the other shareholder? You’re making me waste my precious time here.” You aired as you walked around the meeting hall, then stopping and coming back to your original place. “Also, he really doesn’t need to be polished, even if he was in charge of the plumbing, advise him to be here as soon as possible because I’m getting too impatient and that’s not a good sign if you’re interested in closing the deal with me.”

You walked away again with your arms crossed over your chest tapping on them examining the meeting room knowing very well how your sarcastic movements appreciating the curtains and the carpet was irritating this Kim Junseo, wishing that Junmyeon was here to see this, but you had more prepared and you weren’t planning on giving it away without Junmyeon’s presence.

It didn’t take long and the big doors slid open revealing yet again a very sweaty Junmyeon. He was nervously wiping his forehead with a tissue as well as his neck, trying to fix his hair to the best of his abilities, but who was he kidding? You joked about the plumbing earlier, but seeing the way he looked, you had no doubt that he would’ve been doing plumbing.

He bowed at you from the other side of the long meeting table blushing, he was sweaty and obviously hot, but his tinted peachy cheeks were an effect that was caused by you and you only, and you knew it as well as he did when you shot him a reassuring smile that made him feel instantly at ease despite his uncle’s frown that he could see metres away.

“You sit on that chair and don’t speak unless spoken to! Understood?” Junseo yelled, pointing at the chair he asked Junmyeon to sit on.

“Translate that” You asked your lawyer, taking your own seat.

When he translated, you got enraged. You couldn’t understand how a person who technically owned more shares in a property was treated this way. After all, Junmyeon was an orphan and had no children, therefore in your head, it made him more important than his asshole uncle. So why was this happening to Junmyeon?

“Let’s begin, I suggest.” Your lawyer broke the ice and awkward silence.

“Are you ready Kim Junmyeon-ssi?” You addressed Junmyeon in a friendly tone contrasting completely the vibe you were giving surprising every single person present in the meeting with your utilisation of the honorific term after his perfectly Korean name calling.

“Aaah… yes, ma’am.” He raised himself politely bowing as an act of respect.

Junseo was losing his sanity. When did his nephew take so much importance and with whose permission? He damned the necessity of this deal and tried to ignore Junmyeon’s existence. If this deal went ahead and you joined forces with the hotel, it could potentially be the most luxurious and best hotel in whole Asia. Not even The Emirates hotels stood a chance. This was the ambition and view of Kim Junseo, knowing for a fact that he could use Junmyeon’s shares as he pleased, otherwise Junmyeon would become the ungrateful child of the Kim’s family if he opposed.

“We have a presentation prepared.” Began Junseo. “If you allow me,” he pointed at the screen as the lighting dimmed.

It was an impressive presentation of the future’s view. In summary, they needed your money to convert the hotel into what he claimed he could do with it.

“My turn?” You asked after the lighting came back on not expecting an answer. “I’ll go straight to the point. What other chances do you have if I don’t invest in your hotel? I mean, your half hotel.” You corrected, your nose scrunching cutely while making eye contact with Junmyeon.

“We- well, this is not the point of this meeting. You travelled all the way here to discuss the possibility of investing.”

“So this translates to you’ll go bankrupt basically if I don’t give you what you want in exchange for a collaboration.” You challenged him.

“Are you here to mock me, Miss ___?”

Everyone got agitated. From trying to calm Junseo, to asking you to tone it down, to your lawyer suggesting you to sound more professional because you could potentially face legal issues… Everyone, absolutely everyone was weary, and it was enjoyable watching Junmyeon this confused, lost and unknowing of what to do or how to act.

“I’ll present you with a better offer. Take it or leave it.”

“Let’s hear it.” Junseo requested trying to sound professional.

“How about I buy your shares of this hotel. Your 50%, you know that it’s not a bad deal and you’ll get rid of your debts.”

Junseo scoffed followed by a loud laugh. Histerial and sarcastic, making Junmyeon nervous when Junseo abruptly stopped laughing looking from Junmyeon to you. “What does this mean? And the other 50%? You think my nephew can do anything without my permission and supervision? If you don’t want to collaborate with us, anyone will be dying to.”

“I’ll give you any amount with all the zeros you want, but I want you out of my sight and not touch Kim Junmyeon’s 50% that he lawfully owns.” You slipped a white blank cheque in front of Junseo. “Go ahead, try me.” You smirked.

Junseo’s lawyer whispered into his ear, and from the look of it, it looked like he managed to convince him because he pulled the check, writing an amount giving it to his lawyer to give it to you.

“Can you pay that?” Junseo challenged.

“Very well.” You stood placing your hands on the table. “Just don’t forget to put Mr. Junmyeon Kim’s name in the contracts as he’ll be the new owner. “You blurted, surprising your lawyer and secretary, watching you walk towards Junmyeon as you lowered yourself to his level planting a kiss on his lips making them red from your lipstick. “Don’t be late tonight.” You ran your fingers through his sweaty hair.

“What’s the meaning of all this!?” Junseo yelled, slapping the table.

“It means I want you out as soon as you can.” You replied. “Can you prepare the contracts? I’m quite busy and I need to do some tourism with Junmyeon-ssi while here. Junmyeon, the owner of L7 Myeongdong by LOTTE hotel.”

~~~
“Are you cold?” Junmyeon asked you, removing his leather jacket to put it over your shoulders.
“You know, leather jackets don’t really do anything. I consider them just a nice wardrobe accessory, unless you really wanted to take it off so I can see you flex your muscles.” You teased.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what else to do. I don’t want you to get cold.” Junmyeon looked down at his feet.
“Tsk tsk tsk. You’re nasty Junmyeon-ssi. You know what a simple white T does to me, don’t you?”
“___.” Junmyeon breathed out. “How long are we going to avoid speaking about what you did?”
“Myeonnie.” You threw yourself on the picnic mat he so diligently prepared for you to enjoy the Banpo bridge fountain show overlooking Han river. “We’re supposed to be having a nice evening showing me around.”
“I feel like… I’m not worth all this… why did you do that? I don’t understand…”
You exhaled sitting up. “Don’t make me feel bad for doing what I did. I din’t mean to offend you, and I’m not trying to buy you.” You covered your face. “I’m awful, right? Did I overstep?”
“Don’t say that!” Junmyeon grabbed your wrists. “But I don’t want you to think that I like you because of your money. I don’t want anything but you. You, only you. You without anything else. You and I without anything material.”
You smiled getting closer, nudging his nose. “Are you insinuating that you want us naked?”
Junmyeon blushed. “I won’t deny that too.” He looked right and left. “Should we go now?”
“Is this all you have to show me in Seoul?” You asked..
“Tomorrow more, I promise.” Junmyeon kissed your nose.
“You have work to do, the transition to be the new owner of the hotel, the paperwor-”
“___.” Junmyeon interrupted, pulling your wrist to almost fall on him. “Can we not speak about the hotel now, hm? I know I wanted to talk about it because I don’t like what you did, but right now you made me hungry for you.”
“I’m about to faint. Don’t come that close to me in public if you don’t want to cause a scene, Junmyeon sajang-nim.”
“Ohoo! Who taught you that word now?” He asked playfully, pulling you to stand.
“Well… isn’t my Korean man a sajang-nim now?”
Junmyeon pecked your lips briefly, too short to even realise that your heart had momentarily stopped. “Stop talking and let’s get going. I haven’t shown you the jacuzzi we have on the rooftop.” He winked making your legs wobble.
He was beautiful. Kim Junmyeon was beautiful. His face, his persona, his body, every single element to him was just the best thing you’ve seen and been around altogether, but then why did he feel that he was avoiding speaking about what had happened? Was he upset? Was he out of words? Was he not happy that you got rid of his horrible uncle that overworked him and gave him peanuts as salary when in reality Junmyeon owned half the hotel already?
Why was he being… different?
Did you ruin what you potentially could have with your actions? After all he did confess he didn’t like that…
All those questions ran through your head while on your trip in the elevator to the top floor. You were excited, especially as it was his suggestion. You wanted him, all of him in any way or form, but you also wanted that Junmyeon that was eager to speak to you and get to know you. You wanted him to love you like you clearly did and you couldn’t deny any longer.
Yes, it was love, even though it was too early to call it that, you knew you’d give him both kidneys if he asked or even if he didn’t.
“Junmyeon.” You tried breaking the obvious wall you built without realising by touching his hand that held on the rail behind him.
Junmyeon flinched at your touch and that’s when you were certain that he wasn’t the same man as the day before. “Yes, ___.”
“What’s wrong?” You pouted. “Are you not happy? Did I upset you?” You breathed out. “Don’t answer that. I know I did something without even asking you, but I swear it was all out of… Junmyeon… I…”
“Can’t you just wait and tell me all you have to say later?” Junmyeon smiled when you arrived at your destined floor. “We’ve barely opened this area for anyone. I think there was that one time where the prince of Dubai came over and-”
“Junmyeon!” You stomped your foot on the floor as soon as you got out of the elevator. “You can’t even look at me and you’re talking nonsense!”
Junmyeon came back to lace his fingers with yours pulling you to walk alongside with him. “There’s a cute side to this woman. She gets shy when overwhelmed too even though she looks all badass with that blood red lipstick she likes so much that drives me crazy.”
Finally you could breathe again. He wasn’t faking or lying to you, was he?
Junmyeon opened the door to an impressive room that had no end. It had all panoramic views and nothing you’ve never seen before, but it was the man that held your hand a total first. While being in the hotel industry since you were born and seen all the hotel rooms in the world, you’ve never been accompanied with a man as impressive as the one leading the way. Never been accompanied by a man you could say you loved for real. A man you wanted him to reciprocate your feelings and nothing else materialistic other than crave for his touch and affection, to return you even 1% of what you were feeling as he walked through the room revealing the jacuzzi he talked about.
There were little tea lights already lit around, red rose petals in every single inch of the place, chocolates, strawberries and some fine chilled bottle of champagne waiting.
“I’m just going to get in.” He announced, removing his hand feeling needy and wanting to grab his hand again. “Not going anywhere, ___. Why are you so nervous? Unless you don’t want me anymore.”
“What? Me not wanting you?”
“Do you want to get in? Or do you want to go to the bathroom first? Wear a robe so I can unwrap my present like last time?” Junmyeon suggested licking his lips revealing the length of that tongue of his.
You kicked your shoes off, wrapping your arms around his accessible neck and attacking his lips. Where once Junmyeon pictured to go romantic and be able to come forward to you, it had turned into the most hotest, steamiest and craziest race on who would undress the other first. You didn’t care about your designer shirt as Junmyeon ripped it open hearing the buttons fly in every direction. Junmyeon got stuck trying to remove his turtleneck and you kind of took it as an opportunity to pinch his nipples and lick on them as you had so long fantasised during the innocent picnic. Junmyeon took revenge when he freed himself by picking you up.
“Naughty, are we?”
“Your nippies got all excited, why are you upset? So put me down.”
“I’ll put you down.” He confirmed crocking an eyebrow. “And while down…” he winked, feeling how your every muscle clenched at the suggestion.
He put you down and just like that you obeyed his orders, your hands undoing his belt. You palmed him enough to know he was more than ready and now you were on your knees looking up and watching how he undid your bun and fisted your hair while guiding you. ‘Good girl’ you read on his lips repeatedly and you loved every single moment and how his eyes slowly blinked and how you felt that nothing in the world could ever be as good as this moment you shared.
He didn’t seem greedy, because a few licks it’s what it took to pull you back up to kiss you. The way his fingertips worshipped every inch of your body, from holding your face to glide his tongue inside your mouth to when he finally won the battle letting his fingers wonder to your jaw and neck, to your shoulders and send a cold sensation down your spine when he felt it finally cupping your buttcheeks.
“I never felt this towards anyone.” You verbalised with much difficulty. You wanted to sound romantic.
“I’m not going to let you talk tonight unless it’s to moan my name, princess.”
So… romantic Kim Junmyeon.
Nothing was said after that, and as he instructed nothing was heard as your sounds of pleasure when you rid yourselves from all clothing and sat on his lap as the warm water bubbled around you. Just in silence feeling his erection at your entrance rocking you teasingly without much happening other than your nails digging on his sturdy shoulders.
“Junmyeon~!”
“Yes, princess.” He threw his arms over the jacuzzi looking for something behind the champagne cooler.
“Hug me.” You whined.
“Not before you give me a signature.” Junmyeon announced, bringing a pen and putting it in front of your face, surprising you with how out of context it sounded. “Would you sign?”
“Sign?” You raised your eyebrows in question. “Sign what?”
“Do you really not trust me? After you bought me this hotel?” He pouted. “I’m offended and surprised.”
“That’s not it… but why would you ask me to sign? Moreover, what? And why now of all times?”
Junmyeon raised himself slightly, bringing an A4 sized folder, opening it, pulling a few papers just enough for you to put in your signature.
“I want you to sign this. I need 5 signatures. Would you do that for me?”
You caught your breath feeling uneasy. Why would he ask you such a thing after like he said you bought him 50% of the hotel. After getting rid of his uncle for him and giving him freedom.
Why?
Were you wrong about him all along? Was this beautiful man a scammer that didn’t feel satisfied enough with what you had given him already?
“I will sign anything for you. Didn’t you know that already? If you didn’t you wouldn’t have asked me. I’m a genuine person that has genuine feelings for you, and if what you want is all of me, I’ll give it to you.” You snatched that pen hoping that he’d back away from what he was asking, but on the contrary, he put the documents on the edge signalising where to place your signature.
“Good girl.” He grabbed your hand to keep signing. “Yes, just right there one more time.”
“I’m going to.” You gulped. “But before that, I just wanted to ask you if you know how much I… I…”
“You love me, ___?” Junmyeon caressed your face. “Because if you sign this, I’ll tell you something that is more than I love you.”
“Is that true, Junmyeon?” You asked simply, but your question held so many more meanings.
“Sign the documents, ___.” He firmly repeated.
You took a deep breath signing the rest of the documents. You were definitely hypnotised because you didn’t know how much you wanted to hear what he had to say, even if it was just once. You were craving for anything Junmyeon was ready to give and tell you even if it were all lies.
“There… I signed everything.” You affirmed with a tone of voice that gave away that you signed a contract of your own ownership and slavery contract.
“Now I know that you truly love me. I knew when you did what you did this morning with my uncle, but this just means that you’re willing to give me your all, and I will show you how much I love you too, ___.”
Junmyeon pulled the documents from the envelope carefully so as not to get them wet. He showed you what you had just signed. The first 4 documents were the buy and sell contract of the hotel. Junmyeon had transferred the ownership from him to you, you were now the 100% sole owner of L7 Myeongdong by LOTTE. Yes, he had transferred his 50% and the 50% you bought off his uncle to you.
You looked from the document to his face covering your mouth tearing up. You were speechless and completely out of words and nothing other than the bubbles and your pants were heard.
Junmyeon placed the envelope away embracing you as he held the back of your head. “Shhh, why are you crying now? Did you really think I was conning you somehow? I told you I’m offended. Did you really think I was trying to use you for something bad? All I wanted is to show you how much I love you too. It’s not fair that you got to show me and I didn’t, so it’s only fair like this. I gave you everything I own and all I want is for you to love me.”
“It’s your hotel!” You cried out loud over his shoulder.
“Hmmm, and you’re not curious about the last document?”
“Oh yeah!” You detached yourself. “What else did you give me?”
“Who said I’m giving you? Maybe you’re the one giving me this time.”
You stood enough to pull the envelope to check on the last paper, and nothing else was written other than ‘Marry me?’. You looked behind finding Junmyeon holding a ring.
“Do you want to marry me? Because I’m made in you, girl you make me one of a kind, I’m a star meant to shine only on you, I’m made by you, the reason I shine is because the sun called you looks at me.
“JUNMYEON!!!” You gasped. “YES!!!” You threw yourself at him in a tight embrace making the ring fall into the jacuzzi.
You both laughed and went on to look for it bumping your heads and forgetting about it when you found kissing more interesting.
You were with manager Kim now, and there was nothing he couldn’t make better or fix.
