why get defensive about that unless she felt like her gender was being called into question? my immediate impression was that janna is a trans gal. and i still cant find a better reason for her to respond this way, other than it being a meaningless line. buuuut its more fun to think of her as a trans girl
if you go along with the trans marco theory, it makes her interest in marco early on make waymore sense. trans people are good at noticing other trans people, and maybe her non-flirt advances were like, her way of saying “i see you, and im here with you.”
The end of Amphibia was bittersweet but acceptable, it also teaches us that many people important in our lives won’t be forever at our side. It’s WAY better that the really sour taste of two lovers merging their worlds together without facing consequences, that’s for sure.
Also, I got Capella’s backstory \:v/ Star is pretty much dead and Tom is a proud single father I wanted to create some sort of “funeral traditions on Mewni” like, wearing that person’s favorite color + a black lace/ribbon/tie at the funeral. Since Tom can’t get over Star’s death, he pretends Star went on a journey to fight for monsters rights and, before leaving, she “challenged” Capella to wear that same black ribbon everyday until she’s back. To “prove” it, Capi writes a letter daily, stating the exact hour she tied it around her head. After that, Tom takes the letter to the “Mewni’s mail station” (actually a box full of Capella’s letters she wrote for the past 8 years).

I was so done with this drawing, I didn’t want to finish it at all. I speed run it today like my life depended on it, and now is done and out of my mind. Thank god, it has been sitting open in sai for weeks! You guys can tell that is rush and i just dont care anymore XD Maybe someday in the far, far future I will redraw it.
I fuck up…I understood redraw as “one of your older tomtober drawings” not as screen re-draws :v. By the time i realized my mistake it was to late… xp whoops.
Anyways, I redrew an old tomtober drawing which I was not proud of at all. I think it was day 15: fav couples. (yikes, I look at it now and I die a bit).
I’m a bit late on this years tomtober hopefully I can catch up (probably not).
