fav routine, best minute of tv ever. reminds me a bit of the SS 2003 dior iconic runway shitshow. honestly sytycd put out amazing stuff during the 00s, like all of this weird artsy stuff that wouldn’t make it to the public normally was handpicked by people who knew what they were talking about like wade. stuff that singers would never put in their swaggy MVs

also benjiiiiiii they did benji dirty putting him in grey in the corner. he got the character down perfectlyyy. Eccentric diva Fashionista, elusive cool and alien. lowkey pulled the whole concept and group together.
but for exactness ooof wade’s every line and angle and pose and offbeat is so subtly preying mantis. especially 'weird’ dancing/singing/etc can be so cheesy and on the nose in its need to distrub people but his artistry is fkn ahsdfuiheS*(&#RHS. i love all of wade’s weird ass preying mantis shit, and all his other bob fosse routines on the show too
