“A Great Man Doesn’t Seek To Lead. He’s Called To It.” (Dune)

Josua ‘Lackhand’, Prince of Erkynland and all of Osten Ard.

Slayer of Giants and Norns, lover of lore, reluctant leader, habitual altruist, chronic overthinker and notorious melancholic.

With:
his only “everyday jewelry”: the shackle he kept from his brother’s dungeon.
his rarely used princely crown he’d trade in for a book right away.
and his sword “Naidel, which he might or might not love a bit more than his wife.

Finished “Memory, Sorrow and Thorn”
Now to embark on the sequel “The Last King of Osten Ard” and I am not sure I can cope.

I don’t think I have ever been as scared to start reading something as I am now.

I don’t think I have ever cried as much about a character as I have cried for Prince Josua.

And I don’t know if I can cope with even the tidbits I know happens to him the next books.
