HELLO! It’s been some time since I’ve put myself out here, and I’m interested in finding some roleplay on RURAN VAS, new or old! If we’ve played together before, wonderful! If we’ve never met, nice to meet you! Let’s give our characters some friends! … Or enemies!
——— SUMMARY
Ruran Vas is a masked, wandering, good-aligned knight who seeks to help others while probably refusing to look after himself in the process. Determinationand self-sacrifice are prevalent themes for his character, entwined with the strength of hope. He tries to see the best in others, even while the harshness of the world weighs heavy on his shoulders.
Althoughmelancholy at times, with a tendency to work himself near to death, Ruran has been discovering things like ‘hobbies’ and ‘relaxing’. Part of him is almost always still thinking about his duties, however, and he can’t quite pull himself out of his thoughts sometimes.
He can primarily be found in the Thanalans and the Black Shroud. Other areas are possible, but those two are the most convenient.

——— QUICK HOOKS
RUIN LURKER // Ruran makes regular patrols through the ruins of the Sunken Temple of Qarn and has become quite a cryptid in the area. He carries himself a bit like a knight-priest of Azeyma in the fallen temple, keeping watch over the place, offering prayers to the buried, and protecting their treasures from greedy hands.
☀️VOIDHUNTER // Imbued with the affinity for light, Ruran has lifelong experience with fighting denizens of the Void. He knows how to craft wards that may keep the darkness at bay, can perform exorcisms, and even knows how to close small rifts between the two realms. The battle against the Void seems to be endless, but Ruran refuses to give in. He will work alone if he must, but he may also take jobs and work with a team.
❓ CURIOUS WANDERER // At times, curiosity will overtake the knight, and he may find himself in a place he did not intend to go. It could be anything: an inn or bar, a landmark, a cult ritual, a new shop… If there’s something interesting to be found, Ruran may just stumble upon it. He also enjoys peoplewatching and finding quiet places to rest.
GHOST // In the Black Shroud, there are rumors of a ‘ghost’–a stranger in a white cloak and mask–who appears near places of Void corruption. The shrouded man works to thwart any malevolent threats, only to slip away when safety has returned. None know his name, but it is possible to hear tales from local villages about such a ‘ghost’, if one wished to listen.
