okay you know what i’m tired of?? a bi person suggesting a historical figure with an ambiguous sexuality might have been bi - not saying they were for-sure bi, just MIGHT have been - and being told NO, they were gay, you’re homophobic for insinuating otherwise, appreciate your own history and don’t steal ours! because - what history? what culture? we have NO bi history or bi culture to speak of BECAUSE WE’VE BEEN SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN OUT OF IT AT EVERY TURN. you can’t write bi people out of lgbt+ history, erase us everywhere we come up, and then tell us we’re stealing when we try to write ourselves back into the narrative. that’s not how it fucking works, sorry.
