So I noticed on the map of the new intro that there was a unicorn and it made me right away grab The Dragon Prince Book 1: Moon novel.
So as we know Unicorns created the primal stones for the humans and in return, humans caused the unicorns’ extinction. And as we know this season is supposed to be focused on Aaravos and his past. And I’m thinking we are going to get a flashback of how dark magic was created. We are going to see the early years of Xadia.
Apparently, this is from “The Upside of Hunger”, an episode where Owen goes into an alternate universe where everyone he knows acts the opposite of how they act in Owen’s universe. This is the Courtney from that universe. She helps out Owen and goes with him to his universe.
