You’re outside with Artem as it snows, both of you waiting in line together at an outdoor hot chocolate stand, and your fingers are freezing!

“Your hands are cold?” Artem asks from beside you, just loud enough to be heard over the other people in line.

You look up at him sheepishly and nod. “I forgot my gloves.”

He smiles a little while you rub your hands together for warmth, to no avail.

“Here, let me,” Artem says, and reaches out. He cups both of your hands with both of his, and they’re large and comforting and warm from having been tucked inside his jacket pockets. His brows raise with surprise and he huffs out a small laugh. “Your hands ARE freezing,” he murmurs fondly, and before you can think of a reply, he raises your joined hands to his mouth and breathes gentle warm air onto your fingertips–so close, his lips could be grazing your knuckles.

Your cheeks warm up faster than your hands do, but you don’t mind. ❄️
