I loved Technoblade. He was funny, he was down to earth, and I adored him. He gave me a sense of comfort and calm by making deadpan jokes over minecraft footage.
I loved the character he built for himself, all the artistic interpretations of him, and the way he never made himself into something he was not. He never downplayed his own awkwardness.
I don’t know how to give a name to all the things I loved about him. The sense of humour. The voice. The way he was so wicked smart about the most arbitrary things, in ways that left me in awe. The way he perservered when he’d gotten it in his head to beat a challenge he was facing.
The love. The dedication. The laughter, the characteristic noises.
I love Technoblade. I miss him.
I wish he could have seen the overwhelming love everyone had for him. It only ever breaks its way like this when it’s too late.
I hope he rests easy, and I hope I’ll get to see him on the other side.
