I don’t get why Ishida gave us a lot of Hinami’s thoughts and flashbacks in chapter 142 about herself, Touka, and Ken, (there were at least 5 pages of it). I mean what’s all that for?
In ch 143 things were rushed, we didn’t even get to see them fighting, and while it shows Kaneki’s reminiscence, it focuses more on his demise and Furuta’s winning speech.
Somehow it feels as though they’re abruptly terminating the series, like “Let’s just kill everyone and put an end to this!” although i know there’s possibility for a 3rd installment, but… still. *sigh*
