#the brobecks
I want a musical based around Goodnight Socialite by The Brobecks
now that I have your attention….. :P
Would anyone be interested in buying the original 30x30cm “Golden Dallon” acrylics painting or a hand-painted, blown-out Brendon Urie egg + paper quiff, shoes and tiny golden microphone?
IDK how much I would sell them for, probably around 50€ for the painting + shipping, and the egg 30-40€ something. My sister made the egg for me last Easter but I really have no use for it anymore. Shoot me a message if you’re interested; Paypal is preferred for the payment; item location is Europe but I ship worldwide.
le velo pour deux is the only thing that’s keeping me going right now ???
Been awhile since I’ve updated my brobecks memorabilia collection so here we are, from cds, pictures, stickers, a microphone and a shirt that aren’t pictured
though my time with this CD may have been short i have loved every second of it. Now I must clearly pass it on
Picked up some lovely new CDs today, truly lovely little things aren’t they (this is me pretending I’m not absolutely exploding inside over owning 1/100 of the original Understanding The Brobecks CDs holy shit it’s in my hands I can touch it and also eat it maybe holy shit AAAAAA ((thats me yelling)) )
That personalized cassette is bound to have some interesting things on it, especially since it’s based around the past. We shall see
I am now the proud owner of an original copy of Understanding The Brobecks. Only 100 of these were printed before they just started burning cdrs of them. Not a single image of them has existed for 17 years until now. The inserts in the cd contain bios of the band members and whatnot. I finally own my trophy of the brobecks discography
I’ve been in contact with some brobecks peeps about potentially getting a live recording of the song “She’s A Robot”. They used to open shows with it but as far as I know no recordings of it live are online right now. We shall see what I can get.
The man who wrote Aeroplanes by The Brobecks was their keyboard player Dave Chisholm, in 2011 (long after leaving the band) he remade the song, this version is strictly instrumental and fits Dave’s own music of mainly instrumental contemporary jazz.
Can’t hurt to give it a listen
Heres the quiet title ep by the brobecks if anyone needs the download. The entire ep has been scraped off the face of the earth
It infuriates me that through the brobecks entire discography they had 4 vocalists Dallon (like half the songs), Mike (the other half), Matt (one minute of fun and A Letter, Globular, Codee) and Scott (super early demos) but THEY ALL SOUND THE EXACT FUCKING SAME HOW KS THAT POSSIBLE
The day I figured out dallon didnt “sing” A Letter I imploded
New Brobecks happenings, the old members are finally talking again. Rumor has it we’re gonna be getting a remaster of an old brobecks album either up on streaming or physical. These days are good
(Bands obviously not gonna get back together since idkhows a thing, just expect the old content to get spruced up and more accessible)
The 1000 West footage I dredged up is now available for your viewing cringe
Hello there brobecks people, finally got an update. I managed to get my hands on some more 1000 West content! Quite a bit of footage of the band along with just some of Scott dicking around. It’ll all be up on the archive channel later tonight, till then enjoy this cursed pic of Dallon & Matt
Some new Brobecks I’ve acquired
