Be it allies or antagonists, we enthusiastically welcome the prospect of working with like-minded writers, be they solo players or other groups. As a community, we are of the opinion that it is better to work with other players and groups than utilize DM-controlled NPCs and dice systems in the process of crafting plot arcs and storylines!

We are preparing for two plot arcs which have space for collaborative RP efforts in particular, which will be detailed below; however, we also welcome others to approach us with their ideas! Need a band of criminals to act as antagonists for one of your plot arcs? Contact us and we can chat!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

⸻ THE FLY-BY-NIGHT JOB

Riches. Secrets. Blood. The faces of the players in the underworld may change, but by and large the markets stay the same: there will always be those who chase wealth, those who covet secrets, and those who believe the best retribution is repaid in blood. Kugane, in this manner, is no different.

The Fly-by-Night Job is Ebonguard’s upcoming arc centered around the network’s efforts to expand its reach into Kugane, which as a port city is an important market to have eyes in regardless of profession. Collaborators we’re looking for include:

Black Market Vendors. We are looking to round off the plot arc with a black market event bringing together vendors who operate in Othard.

Sanctuaries. As part of the objectives of the Fly-by-Night Job, the Ebonguard must seek sanctuaries where they can conduct business and meet discreetly.

⸻ MODUS OPERANDI

Greed bows to me. It is my servant and my lever.

Modus Operandi is an arc that Ebonguard would like to run in the near future centering around heists and intrigue. Its objectives are more concrete than those of the Fly-by-Night Job, but nonetheless exist to encourage and enable organic development first and foremost. The base premise of the arc is the preparation for, and execution of, an extremely difficult high-value heist somewhere in Eorzea (preferred setting: Ul'dah or Ishgard).

Modus Operandi is still in very early planning phases, so it’s elatively open ended with regards to getting involved right now. The only story beats that have been definitively laid out for this arc are that the job is meant to be high-risk, high-reward and that the Cloak & Dagger’s proprietor, Crow, should be arrested in relation to it.

Collaborators we’re looking for include:

Heist Marks. A heist is only a heist with a target, be that a bank’s vault, a museum’s collection, a jeweler’s work, a casino, or even an invaluable relic or family heirloom.

Law Enforcement. Eorzea-based law enforcement who would be able to conduct investigations into Ebonguard’s activities and make arrests as necessary.
