After reading many times “The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck” by Don Rosa, I have developed several thoughts and headcanons about Scrooge and Goldie (warnings: references to sex, nothing explicit):

- I am absolutely convinced that Scrooge was very virgin, before he met Goldie, because at that time the only ways straight men had to have sex with women were or go to prostitutes, or being married (I’m not an historian, but I’m pretty sure things were more or less like this); and Scrooge wasn’t the type to spend money in brothels (prostitutes obviously didn’t work for free), and this is subtly hinted at in some parts in “The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck”, in particular when he was in Dawson. Also I think Scrooge was a man/duck who didn’t care about sex at all, his only interests were to make money and help his family, period. Obviously things changed when he met Goldie and spent the whole month with her at the White Agony Creek (in particular, at the end of the month, if you know what I’m talking about …);

- I think Goldie was the only time he got interested in women and sex. I really don’t think he has ever interested or fallen in love with other women, after her, I think he’s like Severus Snape in HP: a man who loves only one woman for the rest of his life (obviously I am referring only to Don Rosa’s universe). I really think he still loves her, after all this time (and apparently Don Rosa thinks the same as I do);

- Instead, I think Goldie was most likely the experienced partner, I mean c’mon, it’s always she who takes the initiative, especially with kisses, Scrooge never kisses her first, NEVER. He’s a total naive (and an adorable idiot);

- I like to think Goldie is slightly older than Scrooge, like three years (there is no particular reason, I just like it ).
