Let me be an unabashed idiot for five minutes and tell you that I discovered HHP has a—second? third? fourth? idk this dude has so many cashflow streams going on—career as audiobook reader. This is 16 hours of listening to him talk, and holy shit, this book is 18th century Gothic in the best way. Some Spanish abbot who’s very famous and revered for being smugly abstinent and a real jerk about it gets CURSED BY A NUN and as a result has “voluptuous dreams” about a sexy woman with the face of the Madonna that results in “riotous indulging” in picturing her breasts, among other things. Harry does VOICES for the characters, the most memorable of which so far is a Romani woman who foretells people’s doom in extended ABAB rhymed poetry that turns into AABB poetry when she switches talking to different people.
