I was sitting in contemplative silence after running 110 miles. The cathedral was covered in Gothic architecture and the afternoon light was making its presence felt through the stained glass windows. The first frosty front of autumn has come through Southern England, making the conditions outside uncomfortable. It was cold and I was tired.
