He knows how to have a good laugh and is fiercely loyal to his friends. He holds the highest authority among the Elves he rules and is respected by both the Noldor and the Sindar. He is valiant, powerful, skilled with a spear, a talented diplomat who makes allies with the men of Numenor, and wise enough to know that Annatar is not who he says he is.
