Sandpiper Gifts = Local Yarn Shop
This little shop is in Bridgman, MI which is one of those small towns near the shores of Lake Michigan and Warren Dunes State Park where people go for a little respite from all that sand. The shop has a variety of artisanal goods from honey to jewelry which appeal to people visiting the area, but is different from most little gift shops in offering a wall of Hoof-To-Hangar yarn for those doing knitting and crochet.
While there are plenty of solid-colored skeins, the highlight are the multi-colored, hand-dyed ones. As you can see, examples of hand-dyed skeins made into scarves or cowls hang on the wall tempting you to imagine your own project. So many color combinations are on offer, from autumnal orange and browns to super bright color mixes. They call it Hoof-to-Hangar because the shop is connected with a fiber mill.
