Fun Fact: Snake venoms have a variety of uses in medicine. Medications derived from hemotoxic venoms are used to treat cardiovascular disorders like heart attack and high blood pressure.
Recent studies suggest that other venom-derived drugs may have the potential to treat pain, neurological conditions, and even certain cancers!
