“Kestrel felt a slow, slight throb, a shimmer in the blood. She knew it well. Her worst trait. Her best trait. The desire to come out on top, to set her opponent under her thumb. A streak of pride. Her mind ringed with hungry rows of foxlike teeth.”
I finished the Winner’s Trilogy. It is really good. I loved all the ideas that Rutkoski explores in the story. I give the trilogy an average of 4.8 stars.
- The Winner’s Curse: I gave this one 5 stars. It was the first book in the series and it really blew me away. I loved the story and the themes it explored. I was really impressed by this one.
- The Winner’s Crime: I gave this one 4.5 stars because it was a little slow for me. There was also not enough positive Arin and Kestrel moments.
-The Winner’s Kiss: I gave this one 5 stars. It was a great wrap up to the trilogy. Everything is nicely done.
I definitely recommend this trilogy to everyone and anyone. It really is a great one.
