i’d lead you down my thought process to get from ‘hymn’ to this but listen. it is what it is. anyway because of tumblr’s porn ban i had to edit this picture a little bit but i don’t think it’s very noticeable.

So after some Discord chatting on a TYP server, we came up with the idea of an advent art challenge (any medium) based on the Catholic saints assigned to each of the days. I chose words taking the saints’ stories into account, and you can read the rationale and the names of the saints on this doc.
I’m sure most people will be too busy but I’ll be doing this all of December (well, I’ll tryto make something every day!) and if you want to join in anytime, feel free! Tag it #adventart so I can see.
The fandom that inspired this is The Young Pope, hence all the religious and horny themes, but obviously any fandom or original work applies.
Credit for the absolutely gorgeous frame goes to the anonymous Victorian hero who drew it and Durer for the praying hands.
