Happy birthday to Paul Kirchner, brilliant cartoonist and master of absurdity behind “The Bus,” a strip that ran in Heavy Metal from 1979-85. Paul is also famous for The Dope Rider, which he created for High Times magazine and still draws to this day. Here are some of Kirchner’s Bus strips from various eras.
