Set number four, featuring Riju and her guards! Also my next attempt at Gerudo armor.
For Riju’s personal guards I wanted a mix of function and ornamental. Something that could be used in combat, but isn’t as functional for desert travel and definitely meant to be pretty. Some research I did suggested that chainmail could be worn not only layers of fabric underneath but also a thin layer on top to keep it from getting too hot to the touch in sun. I thought it was a nice tie in to the canon designs. Now if the guards armor has enchantments to keep it cool or Riju’s guards have a strict schedule that keeps them from overheating, that’s up to you to decide.
