Why do people think that Hunter and Amity are going to be each other’s throats?

I mean Hunter thanked Amity for handing over the key and seems to genuinely appreciate her reaching out to him

And Amity has first hand experience with the kind of situation Hunter is in and knows what that kind of pressure can make a person do. Also she’s following Luz’s example with trying to help Hunter, and Luz didn’t give up on her so I doubt Amity is going to give up on Hunter that easy.

Is it because of all the Lumity V Lunter drama? Cause that would really suck if a ship war actively warped peoples perception on a canon character dynamic.

Basically ship wars are stupid and Amity and Hunter most likely don’t hate each other.
