Willow Park is totally fine. She has magic, and friends, and even her own brand-new Flyer Derby team! Everything is great. And any thought that suggests otherwise gets locked away at the back of her mind where she’ll never have to look at it again.

But when an ultimatum from Amity brings long-simmering tensions to the surface, Willow has no choice but to face all the fear and anger she’s been bottling up. And when she finds herself lost in the woods after fleeing the scene, the only person she’s willing to turn to is a friend who isn’t tangled up with all the hurts of her past.

Getting back to this one after a combination of my curse and wanting to finish “Gilt and Green” held me up for a couple weeks! In this chapter: Gourd Feud, Hunter Gets Mad, and Willow has a bad time (she’ll be fine. don’t worry about it.)

I just have a lot of feelings about this

Why do people think that Hunter and Amity are going to be each other’s throats?

I mean Hunter thanked Amity for handing over the key and seems to genuinely appreciate her reaching out to him

And Amity has first hand experience with the kind of situation Hunter is in and knows what that kind of pressure can make a person do. Also she’s following Luz’s example with trying to help Hunter, and Luz didn’t give up on her so I doubt Amity is going to give up on Hunter that easy.

Is it because of all the Lumity V Lunter drama? Cause that would really suck if a ship war actively warped peoples perception on a canon character dynamic.

Basically ship wars are stupid and Amity and Hunter most likely don’t hate each other.

Luz: “YEAH!!! we found him in.. A CABBAGE PATCH!”

Luz: “He was a lost soul…. Mom took pity on him and brought him home.”
(Baby Hunter in a cabbage)
Camila (imagination): “¡Dios mío! a baby!”

Luz (Barely containing her laughter): “SHE CALLS HIM HER LITTLE CABBAGE BOY”
Hunter: “LUZ.”

Hunter: “CABBAGE BOY???????????”
Luz: I’m sorry I panicked it’s all I could come up with 

Hunter (dire): “YOU COULD HAVE SAID I’M A FRIEND FROM CAMP??? ANYWHERE???????????????????”

Based on the train of thought that Hunter has one hell of a swing + probably wants to stay in his role of looking out for everyone. I love watching what he does in the latest team fights, he’s just keeping everyone out of harms way. 

(dialogue)
Camila: I appreciate your dedication to protecting your friends, mijo

Camila: (takes Hunter’s bat)  But bats are for hitting baseballs, not smashing in faces… I don’t want you to get in trouble.

i’m just obsessed with Luz and Hunter as siblings its just so funny to me. Context whatever they are in front of the mirror and Luz(+Willow) is putting whatever random things she can find on Hunter because its funny
