Been busy bee lately… Traveling and roaming about like a tigeRR

Lately I’ve been doing quite a lot of sports which has been amazing… Started doing a lot of running again (trying to get a nicer body) and also sailing, which I must admit it is a new sport love for me. Yesterday was an interesting night. Sodding use the hotel concierge was too… Finally managed to get some aspirin in the morning and it’s gone!!! My learning curve… Never forget Aspirins!!!!

Talking about hotel staff… I was in laughing fits when I was checking in. Normally when you check into a hotel they ask you for ID to show its your booking… I gave them my British driving license. The lady receptionist said we only accept EU license and yours is not so I need your passport. Considering this was Paris… I said to her, when I last checked United Kingdom is part of the European Union. She looked at me baffled and said its not as it’s brexit!! Omg… I wanted to laugh so badly… But I kept it together and politely said, it’s not quite at that stage yet. And I’m sure it will have similar status like the Swiss (as part of single market) if/when it happens. Of course she was a bit embarrassed, but surely you shouldn’t come out with absurdities when you haven’t got a clue, especially being quite adamant too. I think sometimes people look at me and think Asian girl, she must not speak proper English or be well educated… I don’t think I’m super intelligent or egoistic, but I’m definitely not going to be an idiot when trying to make a point when your not 100% sure… Haha xx oh I must seem horrible now!!! But it’s soooo funny!!

It’s nearly that time of the year again… DECEMBER and everyone is going mad at shopping for Christmas. Trying to conjure up all their imagination they have to buy pressies and do surprises. I try not to be too humbug during this season…. Not to be too pessimistic about its all about gifts and receiving. I like to think the best and feel that everyone is thinking in the best way they can during this festive season…. To spend time with love ones and treat themself/someone to something yummy as it’s Christmas.

Been an exciting week in London as I finally settled in and got to do the things I wanted to do.. relax and see family. Spent a wonderful time in Paris as always… The sun seems to shine so much more there.

I fell asleep and missed my food stop.
But the journey back I got to re-experience microwave pot food. Not my favourite! At least these little meat chorizos were yummy…. I do like meat in my mouth

It makes me rather sad when your in a big queue at the Eurostar terminal, everyone in the same situation queuing sensibly but quietly irritated that they haven’t put enough workers at the passport control. When you get a grown individual who cannot control their arrogance and ignorance and try to queue jump by thinking they have a privilege card because they have a British Passport. Typical…. Shame when he tried to queue jump me I had to tell him off like a naughty little boy and said he must quietly wait his turn like everyone else and that I’m also a British citizen but prefers to be fair and wait like everyone else, especially when everyone is sailing on the same boat. What made it even more funnier, the passport control gentleman was being super flirty and tried to chat me up. This enraged the silly man behind me, making him wait longer. Treat others like how you like to be treated, karma.
