The not!them doesnt actually gain any knowledge from the person it takes over, it’s just gotten really good at figuring stuff out and improvising. Like, their kid comes around and it’s just like “who tf is this?” until they say something to reveal the connection.

Idk if this was specified anywhere, but listening to the not!sasha in the beginning gave me those vibes
