River: This is boring.
Simon: We should’ve brought snacks.
Mr. Giraffe: I’m staying over here. Seriously, what am I gonna do if a tornado knocks on the door? Say, “You’ve got the wrong house?!”
This is what Simon and River think of the Tornado Warning and impromptu field trip to the downstairs bathroom right in the middle of breakfast. We all feel safer with Mr. Giraffe guarding the door.
While I’m osmosing weather safety advice from the tornado warning stream:
If you’re in the path of tornado weather, don’t get caught undressed and barefoot. While you’re taking shelter, get dressed and put your shoes on in case you end up getting hit and having glass and other sharp debris to walk through.
Southern friends, get a live feed on this mess.
Also, reminder to prep all your weather resources ahead of time. Most people I’ve talked to today had no idea this was going to happen.
