I finished a sketchbook, these are some of my favorite drawings! I drew most of them when I asked for drawing requests on my story a few weeks ago! Thinking I should do that again . . I still think about such a scene (or more of them), when thinking about Ash’s words he was saying to Misty in Alola, while walking in front of that beautiful sunset.
God gave me time to do a quickie this morning and I can FEEL the improvement! I’m slowly understanding the pressure sensitivity. Hope i’ll get much better by the end of October!
Inktober day 2!! Enjoy a big mug of cocoa in the autumn rain~~
Can’t believe that I’ve been able to keep up so far! Hope you like it ^_^ #inktober #inktober2017 #lineart #traditionalart #penandink #acrylicink #autumnvibes (ved Oslo, Norway)
Here is the finished painting (can I call it a painting???) It is initially a #doodle for watercolour practice but it looks slightly more elaborate lol #holbeinwatercolor #watercolor #artistsofinstagram #thelegendofzelda #autumn #traditionalart #doodle (ved Oslo, Norway)
One of my old OC’s S. Lilly. I kind of miss watercolors. I still haven’t opened watercolor set I got last year for #secretsanta hahaha xD hopefully that will change this year
Fan art, this specific kind of fan art, is a different ball game. I’ve got to make all of this my own; Tanjiro, Yongguk, the composition. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and anyone who says differently is not being transparent.
I got started with Tanjiro as he’s drawn but started to feel not great about the deeply Japanese motifs on a Korean model. Why? History. So I opted to do some research and some tweaking and have ended up with something I feel comfortable with, that I’m excited about bringing to life.
I’ve been thinking too about how The Art Establishment polices art, acting like this or that isn’t really art. That’s bullshit, by the way. The next time someone says to you “fan art isn’t real art” ask them about the Renaissance. Whole time period, lifted up by Gate Keepers, full of Biblical fan art.
Now that I’ve made myself irritated, have a photo of Hoshi being cute. Let it soothe you
