the way he is chronically never taken seriously by his people during the game (by comparison, despite being younger than him Irida’s main conflict with her clan is with Palina, who still took her seriously and just opposed her because she didn’t feel like her ruling was just- and she basically got ostracized by the rest of the clan for it)
how he tries to be open towards the future and the Galaxy Team/Pearl Clan not in spite but because of his religion (in a reinterpretation of the faith in Dialga that is implied not to be entirely popular) and
how he tries to do his job properly despite the fear that he may not be fit for the role because he has never seen his Almighty Sinnoh.

Yeah Adaman is a really great character who is underrated. Also the fact that he feels a bit insecure for the fact that he can’t even play the Celestica Flute (unlike Irida from the Pearl Clan and even other members of the Diamond Clan). Which may seem small, but that’s just another little point that could be used to add to the ways he’s not taken seriously by his own clan.
Adaman is literally doing his best and manages to keep an upbeat and welcoming persona to the player and others around him which is shows a lot of underlying strength and resolve.
Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention during his scenes because I prefer Irida design-wise, but I don’t remember most of this stuff about Adaman ever being established…
