In this case, the vintage GP9 diesel locomotive. As a 6 year kid I spent a lot of time at my dads wood shop, located off the west runway at the Burbank Airport (1974).I’d watch this exact engine roll past my fathers shop, which always inspired drawings to follow. I guess they really made an impression on me to this day!
