Ghibli is a famous animation studios in Japan that has created many beloved movies like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, and many more!

Ever since I arrived in Japan, I always wanted to go to the Ghibli Museum; however, every time I book it was always sold out!!!

Then finally after 2 years, after waking up super early just to book my tickets, I finally did it!

But the morning slot we wanted was not available anymore so we settled in the afternoon. Although it was rainy, we had fun checking out how they made their animation ❤️❤️❤️

What was the place you wanted to visit, but couldn’t because the weather was bad?

I’ve been living in Japan for about 4 years when this picture was taken in a restaurant in Yamanashi.
.
Despite being in the land of the RISING SUN for a while, I haven’t seen the iconic Mt. Fuji yet.

So, when I moved to Kanto I FINALLY decided to go to Yamanashi to visit it. However, there was a typhoon when we got to there, hence it was a big FAIL We mostly spent our time indoors and driving around xD It was still fun though ❤️

Shiga is a prefecture in Kansai that you probably haven’t heard of unless you have been living or traveling around Japan.
.
The only reason I knew about it was because of RUROUNI KENSHIN. It’s a manga that was turned into an anime and then a live action movie. One of its scenes were shot in Shiga.

I’m a big fan so I wanted to take the opportunity to visit it since I was already in Kansai. It’s one of my trips that were very chill because there wasn’t a big crowd; hence, I can just freely roam around and take pictures❤️

How long have you had your camera?

I have my fujifilm xt10 for almost 2 years but there are still a lot of things I don’t know about it. Sometimes, it really frustrates me when I can’t get a good photo despite having very good lights and scenery.

This was a very challenging shoot because it was raining, the bird kept moving, and it was still winter. My hands was freezing but capturing a shot of this little guy was worth it ^_^

When I went to Kobe for the second time, I didn’t plan anything at all. I was just accompanying a friend who hasn’t been there. However, I knew about Nunobiki Herb Garden but we didn’t know where it was.

As we were exploring a somewhat empty mall, we accidentally found the way to Nunobiki; hence, we decided to go with the flow and check it out!

If you love flowers or gardens, I recommend this place! It’s spacious and it has a lot of beautiful flowers. It’s not to crowded so I felt relaxed just walking around it ^_^
