Guatemalan vibes added to my IKEA Plant cabinet. What do you think?

My IKEA cabinet has most of the tropical plants that require consistent humidity and light.

This keeps humidity around 85%~90%. If it drops, I can easily turn on a small humidifier at times.

The growing lights are on a timer. I can control intensity and hours per day.

Currently all is growing well! From begonias to heart fern to calatheas.

My Alocasia Macrrohiza is back! Never give up. Observation is key!

I have a special love for this baby. I’ve grown her for 3 years now and she was stunning, until recently when I repotted her from a clay pot to a bigger ceramic pot and ended up overwatering her. I neglected her losing leaves, because it is common for her to drop leaves in winter, but I never kept less than 2 leaves. She lost them all…all!

That’s when I decided to take action, checked her roots and repotted her back to a smaller plastic pot and kept her in the ER (my garage). A few weeks later, she is showing her love with a new leaf!
