Unity Dormitory: 10 rooms [CC FREE]

A modern, simple dormitory for your Sims. There are 10 rooms available for students, furnished with IKEA stuff. All of them have a bookshelf, a chest of drawers, a small fridge, and a desk for studying needs. They are ready for you to decorate them however you want to mach your students’ personalities.

Noneof them have a separate bathroom. There are two communal ones instead. There’s no cafeteria and your Sims have to cook on their own in a communal kitchen, which I find much more realistic. You still have vending machines at disposal. When you enter the building, there’s the imitation of a cloakroom and a gatehouse. At the back, there’s a balcony with two telescopes. You also have some kind of a chill room. Flowers are taken care of by sprinklers.

I recommend downloading Improved Cop-A-Feelby@honeywell-mts​, which makes it possible to sit on a bed. This is extremely useful for small rooms in dormitories. Enjoy.

No Wonder Dormitory: 10 rooms [CC FREE]

Once I built a dormitory which I really felt lack of in The Sims 2: University. It was inspired by many postwar dormitories in Europe, and it looks a little bit like a block of flats.

There are 10 rooms available for students, each one in different colour, furnished with white IKEA stuff. All of them contain mini-fridge, built-in wardrobe, and a desk for studying needs. They are ready for you to decorate them however you want to mach your students’ personalities.

There is a communal bathroom, although 8 of 10 rooms have separate ones. There’s also a kitchen and a dining hall. Keep in mind there is actually no cafeteria worker, so your Sims do have to make their own food, contrariwise typical dormitories in game. They can also use vending machines if they’re too lazy (this is what non-playable roommates wil certainly fall in love with). Beside the entry is a decorative gatehouse.

Additionally, students have a small library, all in green (as green is thought to relieve stress), and a chillout room with a TV, easels, billiard table, and chess boards. They can master practically every skill with no need of leaving the lot.

I have not added any flowers, since students really do not have time and a desire to care about them.

The dorm was originally built in a campus named Viedenue, belonging to the city of Niebodart.
