This Kitchen Remix matches every countertop swatch from the Cottage Living kitchen with every counter base swatch. To keep things manageable, I have split the swatches into Light and Dark Wood Tops, for a total of six packages in the zipped file:

I didn’t know what to call this set because it’s not really a recolor, so thanks to everyone on Discord who brainstormed names!
I really wish I could re-organize the order the items appear in the catalogue, but doing that would involve changing the instance numbers of the items. Modular items like kitchens/sectionals have a very specific instance numbering to make sure they all show up right and I didn’t want to break everything for the sake of organization, haha.
Here’s a recolor of the Jungle Adventure pack’s Selvadoradian cabinets, counters and wide-basin sink in my fried snow palette.
There are two handle colors and three countertop options - default white, and the light and medium wood tones from the VAULT counter. You can have all packages in your game as the wood-topped counters will show up separately.
I slapped this together pretty quickly so let me know if there are any issues.
Month one of the set and of course its my favourite part of the home…the kitchen! This set has a lot of tiny details that I would love to explain to you all, but unfortunately I don’t have my microphone with me, so I can’t do my usual overview video to explain everything!
The most important thing you need to know is all about those double ovens you have been waiting for! Unknown to me before I decided to tackle this project, the DHD built in ovens have a glitch which only appears if the counter they are slotted to isn’t empty. So unless you leave the counter above you oven completely empty, the oven door animation will look totally wonky and appear to open at floor level ♀️ Also if you have a low and high oven in game, your sim will always default to using the low oven. They will NEVER use the high oven, even if you queue up the action from there. So to allow you to have the double oven look and force your sims to use that high oven, I’ve included a decorative low oven, so you can still get the look and your sims will be forced to use the high oven like we all want to see!
I would have loved to make more appliances, but there just wasn’t enough time to fit them all in. Thankfully next time I do a kitchen I can add to them and future kitchen can also include the new appliance unit using the same dimensions, so you can mix & match everything.

My recolor of the Brohill Kitchen from parenthood with wooden countertops now includes an Island, and the old counters have been updated with *seamless countertop textures. (*No sharp edges between the different counter objects)
@songbirde asked me whether I planned to make an Island for the wood countertop version of my Brohill Kitchen Recolor. This gave me the “push/inspiration” I needed to finish the Island (Thank you ) , but then I felt I needed to fix the wood texture for the counters as well.
(The truth is, the wood countertop version were never meant to be published. At the time I did not have the patience to make the texture tile seamlessly in either the counters or the island, but after a request I decided to share the counters as they were. It has honestly been bothering me a little that I never finished the kitchen properly. )
IF you already have the counters in your game! I recommend that you replace them with the updated counters.
I remodelled and recolored the Yum Cooker. I needed a cheap older looking stove for my game, but all the stoves in game have a “backguard”, and I don’t like it. (In real life I have only seen stoves without.)
