   “ …k-kch.. “

Speechless.  Completely and utterly speechless is the position Marianne had pushed him into.

‘ I might be joining you in helltoo…’

Those words. Such horrible, heart crushing words they were. Just the thought of his precious wife being sentenced to a damnation she didn’t deserve.. it… it ruined him. He was promised that killing them would be for the best, that there was a hint of good in his crimes, and yet… all he did was damn her to hell?

She would of been better off alive.
Theyall would of been better off alive.
Once again, Nikolai has royally fucked up.
                                                          But that’s nothing new.

  “The nightguards, right?…
That… that shouldn’t be your fault.
   That isn’t hell-worthy, Mari.
I doubt you’re… going to hell.
It’s not too late for you… or any of the children.
   I…”

His hands cross protectively behind her back, his embrace becoming tighter as he pulls the small woman closer to his form.

     No, he wasn’t aware.
He had no idea of Gestalt’s existence nor the deal she had made.

(  He also had no idea that he was one of the main pawns in the devil’s game. )

“..Dry your tears, you don’t deserve to cry.
I.. I’m so sorry for doing this to you.
 Doing it to allof you.
 B-But please… d-don’t cry.
 It’s going to be okay.
I-I mean it, it’s all going to be okay.”

Such a SIMPLE request she had been given; a SIMPLEwish from her loving husband that only wanted her HAPPINESS. It was nothing but SHAMEFUL that she couldn’t even make that wish come TRUE. What a horrible, HORRIBLE, wife she was. All she could was WHIMPERas her tears STAINED the man’s violet clothing.

Why did she make that DAMNEDdeal?
Why did she WILLINGLYbind herself to an eternity of TORMENT?

No…she knew EXACTLY why she did such TERRIBLEthings.
All she wanted was to grant the children just a little moreHAPPINESS.
What a MISTAKE that turned out to be.
All she did was make MISTAKES.

What a GOOD-FOR-NOTHING woman she was.

The man that HELDher, the man that CHOSE her, the man that had given her all the LOVE he could before he simply COULDN’T take it…he deserved NONE OF THIS. None of those who cared for her deserved the PUNISHMENTshe had to face. Even if such ISOLATIONwouldTEAR into her mind and heart…she had to bear the pain alone. She had to serve for her CRIME.

She could still feel the warm BLOOD soaking into her clothing; aGRISLY reminder that her husband had STABBED HIMSELF just as she did so long ago. TEARY eyes that had long since lost their sparkle stared into his, pleading with him to leave.
