you had noticed how often he stared at you. at first the staring, then the small touches, the bumping of his knee against yours while you watched TV, the arm over the back of the couch behind you…
“we should go out sometime,” Emmett stated, distracting you from your thoughts.
you smiled, who needed to think about his intentions any more? you had that boy wrapped around your finger.

Why couldn’t twilight have just been about Carlisle and Esme having to deal with their dumb immortal children. What a great dynamic and so wholesome we didn’t really need anything else.
