#twilight imagine

LIVE

description: Hey! First of all, I simply love your blog and second of all, I was wondering if I could request an imagine with Caius where the reader and him spend some quality time with each other, cuddling near the fireplace (bonus points if they’re one of the oldest married couples in Volterra) and they reminisce all of their years together? Ups and downs? Basically, good old tooth rotting, old married power couple fluff. I understand if you are not able to do this, but I just had the idea. Merry Christmas

The heat from the fire was warm against your skin, its orange embers casting a subtle glow on your face. The coolness of your husband’s body nearly canceled out the heat, leaving you feeling perfectly content.

The two of you were stretched out across the sofa in your rooms, the only sound being the crackling of wood as it burned. Caius was perfectly still beside you, his arm wrapped tightly around your waist.

Snow was falling outside of your window, its light color brightening the darkness outside. It was peaceful and one of the first quiet nights you and Caius had had in a long time.

Your mind wandered as you stared into the flames and you smiled softly, thinking back to a time when your mate wasn’t so busy. “You remember when we actually got to vacation at Christmas time? I wish we could do that again.”

Caius hummed beside you, his hand reached up to smooth back your hair. He pressed a kiss on your neck. “We can always start doing that again.”

“Yeah right.” You murmured. “You are too busy with Aro and Marcus and the trials.”

“We could find the time.” He answered back. You merely raised a brow, remembering a similar conversation from years ago. Back when the Volturi were gaining their power, Caius always seemed to make promises that he fell short on.

“I mean it.” He spoke, almost like he had read your mind, “I’m due for a break and the other two are as well. I’ll speak to Aro and we can start planning a trip for next Christmas. Anywhere you want.”

“Anywhere?” You turned to him, grinning widely. “I’ll have to start planning.”

He leaned forward, pressing his nose to yours. “Our time in Switzerland during Christmas was enjoyable.”

“It was.” You agreed. “However, that was our last trip and we only went a few years ago.”

Caius scoffed. “Try 15 years ago.”

“Still, we need to pick somewhere else.” You rolled your eyes and leaned away from him. “You worry about getting time off and I’ll worry about our destination.”

“Deal.” Caius smiled softly at you, his normally harsh personality completely gone. “I’ll speak with Aro and Marcus tomorrow.”

“Fantastic.” You pressed a quick kiss to the corner of his mouth. “If you don’t, I’m ripping one of your arms off.”

Caius only laughed before kissing you once again.

The cabin was hot.

Between the heat of the fire and how much Alistair was pacing around, you were nearly sweating as you tried to enjoy your book. The room was a complete contrast to the weather outside, bitterly cold and windy with thick snow falling from the sky.

It had been snowing for days now and you were lucky that the cabin had been stocked before the storm hit or you would have starved. Neither of you could leave the house and it was beginning to irritate your mate. His normal ruby eyes were beginning to fade to black.

You heard another deep sigh and rolled your eyes, setting your book down beside you as you did. “What?”

“Nothing.” Alistair huffed as he came to a stop in front of the fire. His blonde hair was tied back into a small bun, the fire casting shadows against his pale skin. His jaw was tight, fingers twisted tensely together.

You pushed yourself up from the couch, moving to stand beside him. You nudged his arm gently, letting him know you were close before moving to wrap your arm fully around him. He relaxed against you, letting his head fall upon your own.

A smile tugged at your lips as the two of you stood together and you thought back to a time when Alistair hated to be touched. He was still touchy sometimes, but the two of you had come a long way in the short few years you’d know him.

His hand slowly twisted through your own and he turned you to face him. His looks were always intense, always had you feeling flushed from head to toe. His other hand grabbed your free hand and he pulled you closer before shuffling his feet back and forth.

You grinned now at him, not used to seeing this sweeter side of him. “This is nice.”

He merely hummed in agreement, spinning the two of you around your living room. You closed your eyes and leaned your head forward to rest on his chest, trusting him to guide you around.

The lights from the fire and Christmas tree illuminated the room, casting colors of orange and red and green around your feet. You giggled lightly when Alistair tipped you back, grabbing tightly onto him.

His own lips were tilted up, the stress from earlier completely gone from him as he leaned down to kiss you. Your foreheads rested together, noses brushing softly together as you leaned to kiss him once more.

Alistair smiled softly at you before pulling back and beginning your dance once more, the Christmas lights and heavy snow as your background.

Panic clawed at him as he ran through the forest, straight to the house of Doctor Carlisle Cullen. He gripped your body close to him, the feeling of sticky blood pushing him to run faster.

He didn’t know what had caused the car crash. Garrett had wondered upon your beaten, unconscious body during a hunt. At first, he had planned to finish you off himself but, the closer he got, the more he realized that he couldn’t harm you.

Carlisle was waiting for him outside of his house, his pale face scrunched in concern for his friend. “Garrett? What’s happening?”

“I found her outside of the city.” Garrett spoke hurriedly, speeding past Carlisle and into the house. “I think she’s my mate but I don’t know how to help her. I didn’t know where else to go.”

Carlisle studied you as Garrett laid you on Carlisle’s couch. You head lolled to the side, your eyes closed loosely. A deep gash was spread across your forehead, blood dripping down the sides.

The doctor sighed beside Garrett as he felt for a pulse. “She’s hanging on but barely. You may have to make a choice.”

“What choice?”

“Garrett.” Carlisle’s voice was serious, his amber eyes locking with Garrett’s crimson. Garrett’s jaw clenched, his gaze landing on your unconscious form once more. He knew what his answer would be.

“Do it.”

—

You couldn’t remember a thing.

Your throat was burning, the surface you were lying on was hard against your back, and the sun seemed like it was right in front of you. Small noises filled your head, like the sound of birds and something small walking across grass.

You peeled your eyes open to look towards an unfamiliar ceiling. Sunlight flooded into the room and you sat up, trying your best to place your unfamiliar surroundings. It looked to be a study, with shelves of books stacked opposite the wall of windows.

Certain things looked different now - you could see the smallest specks of dust on the farthest window, tiny cracks in the glass. Your confusion was growing and you stood, feeling lighter than you had ever remembered.

As you continued to look around the room, you caught sight of your hand and gasped, holding it up towards the sun. The skin on your hand glimmered like diamonds, unlike anything you had ever seen before.

“What the fu-?”

“Oh good, you’re awake!”

You spun, your chest suddenly feeling weird at the sight of this new man. You had never seen the brunette in your life, a tall man dressed in a black trench coat with pants to match. “Who are you? Where am I?”

“One question at a time, sweetheart.” He grinned from where he was leaning against the doorway. “I’m Garrett. I’m the one who found you after your car crash?”

Car crash? You furrowed your brow as you tried to recall the events from days previous. Your memories felt faint, fuzzy but you could vaguely recall lying in your car before passing out.

“Where am I?”

“At a friend of mines. He’s a doctor and you looked pretty bad when I found you.”

You narrowed your eyes at him. “Why not call the police?”

“Didn’t cross my mind.” Garrett answered, his lips still tugged into an obnoxious smirk. “Now, if you’d follow me, I believe we have some things to discuss.”

“I’m not following you anywhere.” You told him, crossing your arms across your chest. “I’m still not convinced that you’re not holding me hostage.”

His laugh was full of amusement and he reached an arm out to you. “Come on. Things will start to make sense soon.”

“Seriously back off.” You glared at him, stepping back to avoid his grip.

Garrett rolled his eyes at you and began to step forward again before stopping. His own brow furrowed and he looked towards the ground, surprised when he saw a green vine wrapped around his ankle. “What?”

The vines began to grow the more he struggled and you watched with wide eyes as they pulled him backwards. Garrett’s red eyes locked with your own. “Are you doing this?”

“How would Ibe doing this?” You shouted at him, still fascinated by the twigs and leaves that held this man captive.

Garrett laughed and leaned his head against the wall. “You’re gifted, too. This would be super hot if you weren’t so hostile right now.”

You laughed this time, though yours was one of disbelief. “Okay, I’ve got to be hallucinating right now. What the hell is happening?”

“You’re a vampire, sweetheart.” Garrett told you, and your eyes widened. “We had to change you or else you’d die.”

You shook your head frantically, looking between the plants and him. “You’re lying. Vampires don’t exist.”

“Unfortunately he’s right.” Before you could blink, another man appeared beside Garrett, this one shorter and blonde. His eyes were gold and his face was kind. “I turned you three days ago.”

You didn’t know what to say. They had to be lying. Vampires weren’t real, plants couldn’t just appear and hold grown men against walls. You were still in your car, passed out and hallucinating while waiting for help.

“Garrett found you and brought you to me.” The blonde continued to explain. “You had a pretty bad wound on your forehead and you would have bled out before we could have gotten you medical help.”

Your thoughts began to sort themselves and you leaned back against the table you had woken up on. Nothing was making sense - what would happen to you now? Could you live a normal life?

“Why don’t you calm down and release Garrett, and then we can talk more?” He suggested, motioning to the plants.

You shook your head. “I didn’t do that.”

“You did.” The blonde nodded. “You’re gifted, like some vampires are. Just try and calm down and that should release the vines.”

Still skeptical, you closed your eyes and took a deep breath, trying to will your shoulders to relax. You felt something loosen in your chest as he exhaled and, when you opened your eyes again, the vines were beginning to unravel from Garrett’s body.

He smiled once he was back on his feet, the grin charming and cheerful. “Now that the excitements over, I believe we have some things to talk about.”

Your eyes lingered together for a moment before the blonde man turned, leaving the two of you to follow after him. Your thoughts wandered as you watched Garrett, and you squared your shoulders, bracing yourself for what was sure to be an interesting conversation.

costume party - v. kings

You grinned at yourself in the mirror, fingers reaching up to poke at your fake teeth.

It was halloween night and the castle was buzzing, every vampire getting ready for their annual party.

Usually, it was just the guards and lower coven members that attended but it was your first halloween at the castle and, as the mate of all three kings, you insisted that they tagged along.

Now, you were locked in your room, trying to perfect your costume. You had locked Aro, Caius, and Marcus out, not allowing them to see your costume until you were ready.

It had been a challenge to hide this costume from Aro, the king trying his best to understand your reasons for not touching him over the past few weeks.

But you didn’t want to ruin the surprise.

A knock sounded on your door, this one loud and impatient and you rolled your eyes. “I’m coming! Give me two minutes!”

“You said that ten minutes ago!” Caius yelled back. “We’re going to be late!”

You rolled your eyes at the king again. He was always the dramatic one, even more so than Aro. “You can’t be late to your own party, Caius.”

You grabbed your black cape from your bed and clasped it around your neck before popping the collar of your white shirt. Your fingers were splattered from the bloody makeup you bought earlier that week, the blood dried on your chin and the top of your shirt.

You fixed the fake fangs one more time and ruffled your hair again, trying to make yourself look as ridiculous as people claimed vampires were.

Finally satisfied, you marched to the door and wrenched it open, smiling viciously as you greeted your mates.

Marcus was the first to react, laughing loudly at the sight of you. Aro chuckled beside him, his fingers reaching out to poke at your makeup. “This is what you’ve been hiding?”

“I look fantastic, don’t I?” You grinned, eyes catching on Caius’ face. His face was scrunched in a complicated expression, causing you to laugh happily.

“Wha-? Are you supposed to be a vampire?” He sputtered, his eyes taking in the fake blood and dracula-like costume.

“Was it not obvious?” You frowned playfully, glancing down at your outfit. “I thought I looked just like you three.”

Caius scoffed. “You look ridiculous.”

“Good, that means I nailed it.” You patted his cheek, smiling again when he flinched back.

“Now come on.” You said, gripping Marcus and Aro’s hands as you began to walk towards your destination. “Let’s go party.”

You sighed in relief as you finally ended your report to the intern who was now taking over your shift. It had been a long twelve hour day and you were glad to finally go home.

You loved your new job as a doctor in the Emergency Room at the hospital in Forks, but it was an exhausting job. Most of the patients that came into the ER were seriously in need of, but the others who came in just for something to do were a little much at times.

“You did well today, Y/n.” Carlisle Cullen, a doctor who had been there for years before you started, approached you as you neared the break room. He had been your mentor when you first started months ago and you now considered him a friend.

“Thank you.” You answered with a smile, holding the door open for him to enter behind you. “I think I’m finally getting a routine with everything.”

“I’d say you are.” He smiled back at you. The two of you clocked out in silence, gathering your belongings in the same fashion.

Carlisle followed you outside, shooting you glances every now and again. You kept your eyes forward as you walked, hoping that your face wasn’t at red as it felt.

He stopped by your car, his face kind and eyes patient as he watched you throw your stuff inside. You brushed your hair out of your face, locking eyes with him as you placed your hands on your car door. “Are you back tomorrow?”

“Yeah.” He answered. “You?”

“Yep.” You sighed. “And then I’m off for the weekend.”

“Me too.” He fell silent for a moment, looking around the parking lot before focusing on you. “Any plans for the weekend?”

You stammered for a moment before getting ahold of yourself. “Not really.”

“Me neither.” Carlisle grinned. “Maybe we could go out one night?”

You knew your face was as red as it felt now. “I’d like that.”

“Great!” He tapped the hood of your car, clearly happy over your response. “Saturday? I can pick you up around six?”

You nodded eagerly. “Sounds great.”

“We can talk more about it tomorrow.” Carlisle told you, now backing away from you to head to his own car. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight Carlisle.” You grinned at him one last time before getting in your car.

You had a feeling you were going to have a great weekend.

Dark red eyes followed the human as he walked out of the bar. He stumbled, nearly falling before leaning on the wall next to him for support. You narrowed your eyes at the man.

You hadn’t fed in weeks and you were going crazy. You couldn’t believe there was no one else out in this town. This man would have to do for now.

You moved from the shadows when the man turned his back, and ran towards him. Your hand wrapped around his throat, pinning him to the wall. Before he could scream, your teeth sank into his throat, silencing him.

After you fed, you dropped the man’s body with a thud.

“Really, y/n?” A familiar voice sounded behind you and you spun on your heel. Carlisle Cullen stood in front you, along with his wife Esme.

You smiled, “Carlisle! It’s great to see you again! And you, Esme.”

The woman smiled politely at you. Carlisle nodded, “look, we need your help.”

Your eyes narrowed suspiciously at the doctor, “with?”

Anxiety crept through your body as you and the large group of witnesses made your way through the snow. The family of Cullens walked in front of you, stopping halfway across the field. You stood beside the Denali’s, waiting for the Volturi to arrive.

You had a history with the Volturi. You had lived there at the same time as Carlisle - leaving at the same time as well. And even after hundreds of years, you regretted leaving.

Mainly because of Aro. Turns out, you and Aro had been mates.

But you were a newborn at the time you lived the with Volturi. You wanted to go out and see the world - even if it meant Aro couldn’t go with you. You planned to go back to him, it was just taking a lot longer than you planned.

Now you would be seeing him again. You were nervous as to how he would react to seeing you on the ‘enemy’s’ side.

Suddenly, a cluster of black hoods broke through the tree line. The group stalked towards you, easily outnumbering the small group you had.

Aro walked at the front of the pack, eyes wandering around the witnesses.

“He’s looking for Alice,” Edward told everyone.

You couldn’t take your eyes off of him. He hadn’t changed at all since you had left. His eyes fell on you, halting in his step. You shifted nervously, but your eyes didn’t leave his.

Edward turned back to you, confused for half a second before finally realizing. He tilted his head, inviting you to come forward. You left Tanya’s side and stood by Edward’s, connecting your eyes to Aro’s once again.

No one spoke. Tension rose from both sides of the field, waiting for what was to happen next. After a moment, Aro stuck out his hand.

Instantly, you walked towards him. You didn’t use any speed - you just wanted to take your time. You reached him, immediately placing your hand in his.

Aro pulled your hand to his chest, reading your thoughts for a minute. Then, his eyes came back into focus and cautiously pulled you into a hug. You grabbed him, putting your face in his neck and sighing.

“I missed you,” you murmured, “I’m sorry it took so long to get back to you.”

“Don’t worry about it, my dear,” Aro ran a hand through your hair, “I’m just glad you’re here.”

You jumped at the sound of the heavy castle doors opening. After taking a deep breath after your scare, you turned to face the Volturi guard.

A smile grew on your face at the sight of your boyfriend, Alec. He was currently in a heated conversation with Demetri, not yet seeing you. Normally you would wait in your rooms after he returned from a mission, but not today.

You caught the eye of Jane, who turned to alert her twin. He stopped in the middle of his conversation and turned to you. His once annoyed expression turned to one of joy and he marched towards you.

His arms wrapped around yours, lifting you into the air easily and twirling you around. A loud laugh escaped your mouth at Alec’s actions and he put you down shortly after.

Alec’s head rested in the crook of your neck now as you ran your long fingers through his dark hair, “how was the mission?”

“Boring,” he grumbled, “we weren’t even needed in the end.”

You hummed and Alec pulled back. His lips lowered down to yours, pulling you even closer to him. Your hand laid on his cheek as the two of you kissed.

You pulled back with a grin and took his hand, “come on. You can tell me all about it now.”

Tears fell down your cheeks steadily as you gazed at the photo in your hands. In the photo, you sat on the front porch of your house with your dog. He was only  a puppy in the photo, and you were only around eight.

You smiled down at it sadly and reached up to wipe the tears that fell. After growing up together, your dog’s time had finally come. You knew it was going to happen, but that sure as hell didn’t make it any easier.

Heavy footsteps appeared behind you, but you didn’t bother turning your head until the man sat next to you. Emmett wrapped a strong arm around your shoulders and pulled you to him.

You leaned your head on his shoulder and sniffled. Emmett’s hand ran up and down your arm as you tried to calm yourself down.

He didn’t say anything, which you appreciated. There was nothing that could be said anyway. You would get through it on your own.

And Emmett would be by your side the whole time.

A wince left your lips as you stood from the ground. You bent over to loo at your knee, hissing when you saw the blood dripping from your knee. You had decided to go for a hike today, which obviously wasn’t the best idea.

You were quite clumsy, even more so than Bella, and usually went with someone else. However, all of your friends were busy and you didn’t want to bother Carlisle. He had been busy with work lately.

You brushed off the dirt from your body and began to slowly walk back to the house. The cut wasn’t too bad but it hurt so bad.

After you returned to the house, you slowly walked towards Carlisle’s office. You pushed the door open gently, and walked inside. He sat at his desk, nose buried in the paperwork on top of it.

He looked up when he heard the door open. His eyes landed on your injury immediately, and he rushed over to you, “what’d you do?”

You shrugged casually, “I wanted to go on a hike.”

Carlisle shook his head with a smile, “why didn’t you tell me? You’re too clumsy to do things like this by yourself.”

You laughed at how true his statement was, “I didn’t want to bother you.”

“You’re not bothering me,” Carlisle helped you sit on his desk and went to grab a wet towel. When he returned, he gently pressed it towards your knee.

You gritted your teeth together at the sting but said nothing as you watched Carlisle clean the wound. Once it was clean, he grabbed a bandaid and covered the now small cut.

Carlisle smiled at you and gently kissed your lips, “all better.”

“Thank you,” you told him, jumping up from his desk.

“You’re welcome, y/n,” Carlisle sat back down, “just be careful next time.”

Description: Can you write an imagine where reader (Sam Uley’s 16 year old daughter, not a wolf) is the imprint of Embry. Reader goes missing for a day, and embry freaks out, and Sam gets angry that Embry imprinted on his daughter.

You were absolutely no where to be found. The pack had searched every hiding spot they could possibly find and nothing. Where could you have gone?

Your father - Sam Uley - paced around the kitchen anxiously. Your mom - Emily - watched him from her spot from the door. She was biting her nails, equally as nervous as your dad.

Embry sat at the table with the rest of the boys. His teeth were digging into his knuckle as his leg bounced up and down underneath the table. His eyes darted from Sam to Emily.

You were Embry’s imprint. The two of you hadn’t planned on telling your parents right away but that changed when you disappeared. Embry had accidentally let it slip.

Sam was not happy, to say the least. But now was not the time to scold Embry - it was time to find his daughter.

Honestly where could you have gone? You were sixteen years old and didn’t have your license yet. It wasn’t like you could go far.

Embry could feel his patience thinning. You always told him where you went. Just as he was about to explode, the front door swung open.

You walked in with bags in your hands and sunglasses covering your eyes. You stopped short at all the eyes on you and lowered your sunglasses. A nervous laugh escaped your mouth and you waved, “hi guys?”

“Where have you been?” Your father asked immediately.

You frowned at him, “I went to the mall with f/n.”

“And you didn’t bother telling anyone?”

“I did?” You answered. When he raised an eyebrow, you pushed past him and walked to the fridge. You pointed at the slip of paper in the middle of the door, “I wrote a note?”

No one said anything. Your father uncrossed his arms and opened his mouth before closing it again. He gave a short nod and then turned to the pack, “everyone out.”

Embry slowly stood from his seat, attempting to escape the house, “not you, Embry.”

You pursed your lips, assuming that your dad had finally found out. You moved over to Embry’s side, avoiding his eyes. Your dad stared at you intensely, but you didn’t look away.

“When were you going to tell me that you imprinted on my daughter?” Sam finally broke eye contact to glare down at Embry. The boy seemed to shrink under his sight.

“We wanted to wait a little longer,” you answered for your boyfriend, “but I don’t think it was the best idea now.”

“It wasn’t,” your dad spoke. He shook his head, “you should’ve told me right away.”

“Sorry,” both you and Embry answered together.

Your father eyed both of you before sighing and walking out of the room. Your mom sent you an apologetic look before heading after Sam.

You sighed and turned to Embry, who immediately wrapped you in a hug, “you had me so worried. Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I technically did,” you laughed, hugging him tighter, “you guys just didn’t read the note.”

He chuckled against your neck, “I guess not. I’m just glad you’re okay.”

Description: Could you write an imagine with an social anxious still human S/O with Carlisle please? :)

Requested by:Anon

Warnings: Social anxiety, slight panic attack.

Thanks for requesting! Send in some requests! Also, I haven’t wrote panic attacks before so forgive me if this is bad.

(He’s the love of my life, honestly)

You gripped Carlisle’s hand tightly as your eyes scanned the crowd in front of you. It was Bella and Edward’s wedding night, and the house was packed

As Carlisle led you behind him, you could feel your anxiety rising slightly. Your heart was pounding in your chest, and you could feel your palms becoming sweaty.

You took a deep breath to try and calm yourself down, but felt your panic rise when he stopped in front of a family.

They were gorgeous - all of the women had beautiful blonde hair and amber eyes, and the man was brunette. You gripped his hand tighter as you stared at them and tried to even out your breathing.

“Y/n,” Carlisle turned to you, giving you an encouraging smile, “these are the Denali’s. I’ve told you about them before.”

You nodded, giving them an uneasy smile. Carmen nodded at you with a smile, staying back as she sensed your anxiety. Carlisle conversed with the family for a moment longer, before you lightly nudged his arm.

Your breathing had gotten faster and you could feel yourself becoming lightheaded. You were not comfortable at all.

He glanced back at you in concern, and excused the two of you from the conversation. He led you to a quiet room away from the party and gripped your face in his hands, “breathe, my love. It’s okay.”

You nodded, trying your best to focus on his words. Your eyes locked onto his own and you exhaled out of your mouth. His eyes had always been the thing to cease your panic attacks.

After a few more shaky breaths, you closed your eyes, “I’m sorry.”

Carlisle pulled you to his chest, swaying you back and forth, “don’t apologize, sweetheart. It’s okay.”

“I wish I wasn’t like this,” you mumbled.

“It’s apart of you,” Carlisle whispered, kissing your forehead, “it doesn’t make you less of a person.”

You didn’t say anything to him, but held on to him tighter after his words, “thank you.”

Fire crackled in the fireplace in front of you. Your hands were wrapped around a steaming cup of tea, your head resting on your fiance’s shoulder. Carlisle sat close to you, holding a book in his hand.

It was quiet. The rest of the family had went out to hunt that morning, leaving the house completely empty.

Your eyes fought to stay open as you listened to Carlisle’s breathing and the soft sounds of the fire. Your hands gripped your mug tighter as you yawned.

Carlisle glanced down at you, warmly. He chuckled at your tired state before closing his book and running a hand through your hair. He kissed your forehead softly, “we can go back to bed, y/n.”

It was early in the morning - 7 am to be exact. But you and Carlisle never got proper alone time, and you wanted to enjoy your time together.

“No,” you mumbled, waving your hand at him, “I’m fine. I’ll wake up eventually.”

He only chuckled again, “whatever you say, darling.”

The man went back to reading his book while you moved even closer to him. You pulled at the blanket resting beside you, moving it to cover your body. A sigh of contentment left your lips as you closed your eyes again.

Carlisle glanced down at you once more, smiling at your now sleeping form. He closed his book and grabbed the cup of tea from your hands. His lips found your forehead again and lingered for a short moment before he pulled back.

He took one more look at you, before picking up his book once more.

You absolutely hated your job. They assigned you stupid assignments all the time and you were completely stuck on the latest one. You could feel a headache growing between your ears.

This assignment was due tomorrow morning, and of course you pushed it off until the last minute. Due to your frustration, a lump grew in your throat.

“I’m so stupid,” you groaned, rubbing your eyes, “what kind of idiot waits until the last minute to do something like this?”

Carlisle looked up from his laptop with a frown. This wasn’t the first time you had been down on yourself, but he absolutely hated when you felt this way. You definitely weren’t stupid to him.

He reached across the table to grab one of your hands and offered you a small smile, before frowning again, “you’re not stupid, y/n. You’re just stressed.”

You rolled your eyes at him, “I do this every single time. I need to get my shit together, honestly.”

He shook his head, “you’ve been insanely busy this week, darling. They’ve had you at work every chance they can. When were you going to get the chance?”

You opened your mouth to speak, but he cut you off, “you’re not stupid, and you’re certainly not an idiot. I don’t like when you say things like this. You’re very smart, y/n. You’ll figure this out.”

A smile tugged at your lips and you squeezed his hand. He always made you feel better, “thanks Carlisle.”

He smiled back at you, then moved closer. His eyes moved from the paper to you, “I’ll help you now. What do you need to do?”

you grinned, looking away from Emmett. you had to admit to yourself how gorgeous he was, and the way it made you feel when he complimented you.

you had noticed how often he stared at you. at first the staring, then the small touches, the bumping of his knee against yours while you watched TV, the arm over the back of the couch behind you…

“we should go out sometime,” Emmett stated, distracting you from your thoughts.

you smiled, who needed to think about his intentions any more? you had that boy wrapped around your finger.

Twilight fans, please give me your opinion!!

I know I’m probably the 10000000000th person to want to rewrite Twilight from a different perspective, but

I had a dream and it made me want to try so hear me out

I wanted to make something slightly different. With the characters in college instead of High School, and maaaaybe change some aspects of the saga.

I don’t want to make it a huge text so, if you’re kind enough to message me to tell me if I’m crazy or not, I’d really appreciate it. (I don’t have any friends who also like Twilight so I have no one to help me with it.)

Family: |Part 1| |Part 2|

Inspired by Smash into Pieces “Stay”

Days without Sam hadn’t been easy. In fact, they were terribly hard on your emotional and mental state. Your daughter, who was far wiser than her age, found you crying many nights. You missed your husband and your daughter missed her father. The only connection you had with the Native American was his text messages, love letters full of apology in his wish to atone for how badly he hurt you.

Lily’s questions about her father’s whereabouts grew scarce over the weeks. She missed him, he had never before been away for so long. There was no doubt in your mind that no matter what the future brought for Sam and you, he had a bottomless fountain of love for his little girl. And you always made sure she knew that.

It was almost two months later when he called you. Deciding it was time to stop moping in your own hate, you answered. The line was silent, he hadn’t expected it.
“I need to see you…”
Tears uncontrollably fell down your cheeks, but you inhaled sharply and allowed him to continue. You didn’t trust your voice to not betray the turmoil within you.
“I’ll come wherever you want me to… But I need to see you, I need to see Lily. Please…”
Licking your lips, you exhaled; “Forks. On the beach… In two days.”
“Alri-”
You hung up on him before he could fully reply, mentally unprepared for the meeting. Lily was in daycare, you were alone in the house. You had never felt so alone before, dread making you curl up on the floor. You still loved Sam so much.

You hadn’t told Lily you were going to visit Forks to see her father. Your mother’s cousin was willing to watch over her for a few hours, having a child of her own about the same age as Lily. It would keep the little girl occupied in your absence. You dropped her off with a big kiss, telling her to play nice. The road to First Beach was long and winding, the scenery peaceful. The GPS took you the long way around, getting you stuck in the mud. Hitting the steering wheel in frustration, you think what else could go wrong today. Stepping out into the mud, you sink with your sneaker even further in. Grabbing your purse, you fish through it for your phone. It starts to ring just as you grab it, with Sam’s caller ID on the screen.
“Yeah, am nearby… I think? The car is stuck in the mud.”
“I’ll find you, stay there.”
“Do I call AAA?”
“No, just wait for me.”

Sighing, you hang up and enjoy the serene silence of the forest, not having felt so at peace for a long time. Attempting to move from your spot in the mud, you realise that you can lose your shoes in the process, which frustrates you even further. It’s fifteen minutes later when you hear rustling nearby, your eyes falling on Sam and one of his friends. They’re both without shirts. A sight you had long forgotten how it made you feel when you saw Sam naked. He smirks when he sees your jaw drop slightly, but is quickly reminded of your broken relationship as you avert your gaze. He approaches you and sees you’re stuck as well.
“Need help?”
“I tried, I’ll lose my shoes.”
He rolls his eyes and wraps an arm around your torso, hoisting you into the air. His other arm goes underneath your knees to hoist you up bridal style. A surprised squeal leaves your lips, your arms going around his neck quickly.
“I’ve got you, princess.”
“T-thank you…”

Sam gently sets you down onto the forest floor and cups your cheeks, your beautiful doe-eyes on him.
“Remember the secret I told you?” You nod. “Paul’ll get your car out.”
Shifting your eyes to the noise behind Sam, they go wide in shock and awe as you watch a giant wolf lean against the car’s front bumper. Only a slight nudge and it’s back on solid ground.
“Wow… That’s… Oh wow, he’s beautiful.”
You walk past him towards the wolf with silver fur whose brown eyes look at you mindfully. Sliding a hand into his fur, you chuckle in disbelief. Sam clears his throat, jealousy evidently pouring from him.
“Oh my God, Sam… This- this is you? I mean- I mean, you’re like this too?”

You cup the giant wolf’s cheeks and you giggle as you squish them gently. His ears lower in discomfort as his eyes meet that of a jealous Alpha. You straighten your back and look at Sam with a serious expression.
“So much for our picnic…”
“Where’s Lily?”
“I left her at Laura’s house… She doesn’t know why we came to Forks.”
Glancing at the car, “wanna lead me to First Beach?”

The two of you sit on a blanket, the sun slightly peeking through the grey clouds up above. The waves softly crash onto the sand.
“So why did you want to see me?”
You hug your knees and look at him, the breeze playing with your hair.
“I… I thought you would be around forever, no matter what. I started taking you for granted. If I could turn back time and change my life, get another chance to make things right… I’d let you know, I want you to stay…”
Tears fall at the sweet revelation of his feelings, but you still don’t know what it meant for your family. You lick your lips and sniff, Sam’s bloodshot eyes looking at you regretfully.
“In my dreams, we’re still together. Everything is like one big, happy ending. But then I wake up and it’s all gone…”
“Sam… I want you to stay, too. But I can’t handle your secrets. I can’t handle the blame you put on me for escaping the life you have with us. I don’t deserve it, Lily doesn’t deserve it.”

He nods and wipes his eyes quickly, never wanting to show his vulnerable side to anyone. He moves his body sideways, closer to yours, taking your hand in his.
“I don’t deserve you, but I… I need you. And I know you need me, too. I’m asking for one more try. For our family’s sake. I love you.”
“I love you, too.”

The two of you share a chaste kiss, the kind of kiss through which all your emotions are presented. From pain to loneliness to the love between you. The love for each other, for your family, and the future that could be. Sam then explains how losing you caused his wolf to reject Emily completely, something that has never happened in the tribe’s history.
“Does that mean that your first marriage…”
“It’s annulled. You’re my only wife.”
“But I’m not your imprint… What if you find-”
His lips quiet your doubts and he smiles, “my wolf only wants you. I only want you.”
“Sam…”
“I’m so much better with you around. Stay with me.”

Sam leads you back to La Push where you informed Laura to bring Lily. You see the older woman talking to some of the other adults, Lily holding onto her leg in fear. She turns her head at the sound of the familiar engine, her eyes growing big when she sees her father.
“Daddy!”
She stumbles through grass and dirt, running towards the two of you. Sam hoists her up in a tight hug, tears falling from your eyes once more.

You’re willing to try again. If not for your sake, then your family’s.

Hiding from me?

Embry Call x reader

Summary:Embry got home and couldn’t find his imprint anywhere in the house, so he goes and looks at the only other place he thinks she would be.

Embry was puzzled. He texted you an hour ago and you assured him that you would be at home when he got back. He imagined walking inside and seeing you on the couch with the dogs, probably watching some true crime video. As soon as his shoes slipped off he walked towards the living room.

His brows furrowed as his eyes scanned the area. Fluffy blankets lay in the area your body usually occupied but you weren’t there. The dogs barked in excitement around him, just so happy that daddy was home.

“Hi little loves. Where’s mommy?” He asked the two golden retrievers. Their ears perked at her name and they began to bark loudly, running around the house to search.

Embry laughed at how eager they were to find you as soon as he mentioned your name. You weren’t there and the dogs halted at his feet once again in anticipation. Their dog faces screamed pet me god dammit.

His hands skimmed through their well groomed fur, thanks to her dedication to keeping them clean, petting them for a minute before he slowly rose back to his feet. He slipped his boots back on in a daze as his mind was stuck on her. He wished that she would give him a heads up when she was going to go out. He saw more shit than he would like to admit and worrying was in his nature.

“I’ll be back, boys. I’m gonna find that mommy of yours that likes to drive me crazy. Behave, little rascals.” He called out, blowing them kisses before turning the door knob.

Birds chirped a melody as their bodies fluttered from the assortment of trees. Embry flinched when one flew past his ear- making aswish sound. He smiled slightly at the fact that it scared him. A man who could turn into a bear sized wolf was spooked by a little bird in the woods. He internally swore to never think about it while shifted with the pack because they would tease him about it. Especially Jared.

His ears picked up soft music playing to the left of him. Honey-like voice of Hozier alerted the man that his fiancé was very close by. Y/N loved Hozier’s music. She explained it to him before that his songs just made her feel so understood and completely loved. Embry then would joke that Hozier should be with her instead, to which she would hit him and tell him to shut up.

He peeked around the tree to see her form. His heart soared at the sight before him. A sheet was spread on the ground. The blue and white pattern reminded Embry of the floor mats in her car. Floor mats that he bought you for her birthday three years ago. It was the first year they were together, and he wanted to get her something that she would use everyday and appreciate. She loved the gift. She was so damn appreciative of everything he did. She was actually appreciative of life itself. So sweet and naturally good that it made his heart hurt.

Herbody lay sprawled on the sheet with her head looking up towards the sky. He wondered why she was looking up because the trees covered the blue sky. Her fingers tapped on the fabric of her shirt resting against her midsection to the beat of “Wasteland, baby.”

A smile split his lips apart as he heard her mess up a lyric and laugh to herself about it. She shifted where she laid to a sitting up position to check her phone that sat next to her feet. Embry took this as his que.

“Hiding from me, sweets?” His voice startled her. A surprised scream left her lips as she threw her phone onto the ground. She glared at him, her hand coming up to flash him her middle finger.

“You dick, you scared the hell out of me. Be a normal person and text me a warning that you’re coming.” She spoke, hand over her heart to feel it beating out of her chest.

He blushed sheepishly before defending himself, “Not fair because, one, you should have told me that you were coming out here and two- don’t call me a dick. I prefer the names; handsome, lover boy, bub, and occasionally cutie pie. Well I’d take cutie pie over dick any day.”

She rolled her eyes at his speech but offered a loving smile all the same. She couldn’t help it. No matter what the man in front of her did, she thought he was the sun, the moon, and the stars. A part of her felt guilty for not warning him where she would be.

“I admit, a simple text would’ve been thoughtful. So I’m sorry about that, but you know I hate when you sneak up on me.”

His body came to rest beside hers on the thin sheet that barely separated their bodies from the natural dirt and grime of Mother Nature. His brown eyes gazed over her beautiful features in appreciation and adoration.

“Didn’t mean to spook you…” he mumbled, leaning over to kiss the side of her head. She hummed as he pulled away, “Why are you out here anyway?”

She sighed, crossing her arms, “Greg from work was being a sexist asshole, and I argued with him about the wage gap for about an hour. My nerves were so shot when I got home that I had to disconnect. Come out here and focus on the sweet things in life.”

Embry listener to all she had to say, soaking in her feelings as if he was a sponge used to clean up spilled water. He would always be attentive to how she felt because his mom taught him to care about women more than just lovers, but to care about them as deep counterparts to life, as a great friend.

Y/N cared too much sometimes and that put a burden on her shoulders. He wanted to help carry that burden any time he could.

“Greg is the one who you should be calling a dick.”

She laughed, nudging his arm with her elbow, “Oh I called him that and more. Trust me. I’m glad I have a sweet man like you that actually cares about women instead of seeing them as servants.”

His finger tips grazed her collar bone, dancing around the soft skin that was cold compared to his lava temperature. Goosebumps arose from the rapid heat. They traveled down her skin until his fingers connected with hers.

“My mother raised me right, and apparently a lot of parents could take notes from her. Next time he argues with you, just call me and hand him the phone. I will school him like no other, teach him how to respect others.” His low voice rumbled.

“I’m sure you will, lover boy. I don’t doubt it.”

Embry bit his lip as he let the silence wash over the couple. A bird flew past again and he jumped, internally cursing the damn animal for getting him twice within ten minutes.

“I don’t want to rush you, but I’m very hungry. I’ve been thinking about that Italian place we went to a couple months ago.” His thumb rubbed circles against her skin.

“Luittei’s.. yeah; that place was good. You wanna go there?” She asked, looking up at him.

“Not very subtle, was I?”

Y/N patted his arm. She then stood up and helped him up too, “You’re cute, but no. Not subtle at all. I want Italian too though.”

Embry bent down and grabbed the sheet in his hands, her grabbing the other side to fold it harmoniously.

“I love you.” His voice cracked a bit as his tongue delivered the earnest words. Letters strung together that formed such a true and genuine message. Loving her was as natural as breathing to him and he was sure it would always be. His tone surprised her.

“I love you too, Em.”

Request: “Hey, since we both seem to be in need for some Embry imagines, can you please write something fluff where he tries to reassure her before the fight in Eclipse? Thanks a lot ”

Embry Call x Reader

Vampires were your least favorite thing in the whole universe right now. If the Cullens, mostly Edward, would just turn Bella these issues would not be so pressing. Defenseless little human Bella needs to fight her own battles without dragging in the wolf pack. Their genes are designed to protect the reservation, not Bella Swan and the endless drama that comes with her.

These ruthless thoughts swam around angrily in your head as Embry could only sheepishly smile. He came over after Bella’s party to alert you of what was going down. A part of him hoped that you would be excited that he would get to kill leeches, instead you were grumbling about it.

“Babe, the pack is literally made for this.” Embry softly said, grabbing your hand that was clenched. You glared at him, yanking your arm away, “Humans were created to just die in the end too, let me just go off myself.”

He huffed out angrily, “Don’t say that, don’t even joke about it.”

“It’s what you guys are doing, Embry. Who knows how many vampires there will be! It could be a trap for all we know.”

Your boyfriend rolled his eyes but shuffled so that he was sitting on the kitchen counter, “I know that you are scared, but I am doing this for the ones I love. If those leeches somehow get here, you could get killed. We are best equipped to handle this.”

Arms crossed over your chest, you gazed out the window. You were so mad. Mad that the Cullens lived in forks, mad that these young natives had to turn into giant killer wolves, mad that your wolf was put in danger, and especially mad that you were so worried that it was hard to breath.

Embry is your person. The one who knows all your fast food orders, always tells you a cheesy joke, helps you with mundane tasks, shares a bed with you most nights, talks for hours about space, and understands your adoration for old rock music. Losing him would be unbearable. Almost would be like losing a large portion of yourself.

“One scratch on your beautiful skin and I swear..” Your voice cracked as tears leak like a waterfall down your cheeks. You try to hide from him by turning the other way but he was already off the counter and in front of you. His hands gently grasped your head. Your eyes sadly looked into his chocolate brown eyes as his thumbs wiped at your crocodile tears.

He wrapped his arms around your shoulders pulling you into a warm bear hug that slightly calmed you down, “I’ll be okay, Y/N.”
