Since we will be getting more Ignihyde’s chapter content this March, I decided to post some memes that I made a while ago since I was bored (a very dangerous state of mind if you’re me) but I totally forgot to show here. It can also serves as a good recap, I think…
So enjoy~ it’s mostly Pomefiore bc Rook is iconic and Epel is still screaming in my mind to this day
This is a short crack theory based on a little information we got from the canon, so just humor me for a second here—
As soon as Rook dropped that he had 5 siblings in chapter 6, my immediate thought was “is it because there are 6 types of pieces on a chess board”? Like… Rook’s own name aside, he mentions having 2 older siblings and 3 younger ones. If you look at point value of the pieces in chess (when captured), it goes like this:
King — Technically not worth any points, but I’m placing it at the top as “most” valuable, as it is game over for you when the King is cornered/checkmated.
Queen — 9 points
Rook — 5 points
Bishop and/or Knight — Tied at 3 points each
Pawn — 1 point
Notice where “Rook” shows up in the listing: with 2 “above” him and 3 “below” him. Like how Rook has two “elder” siblings and three “younger” siblings in Twisted Wonderland………………
Does this mean the Bishop and Knight of the Hunt family are twins if they’re the same age/“point value”??? Does Rook just stare at the chess board in Leona’s room and just… reminisce about his family since they can’t all physically meet up that often??? They aren’t ALL literally named after their respective chess pieces, right? … Right??????????
… Obviously, don’t take this theory too seriously, I just really like this aesthetic and idea so I wanted to share it now excuse me while I go design my own Hunt siblings based on each chess piece—
now i need to know if rook already talked Like That when he was in savanaclaw or if he became progressively more annoying after transfering to pomefiore
I think I am speaking for all of us when I say that Chapter 6 has, by far, been the most interesting and satisfactory Twst arc. Ever. I don’t know where to begin in describing it, honestly, but I think you would understand once you get to read it for yourself.
I’ll mostly be focusing on the topics I stated above, but this post will still be laden with spoilers for Chapters 4, 5, and 6, so if you aren’t up for Scarabia-centric spoilers, please skip this post!
Suddenly realising that Pometrio is the best group to deal with Ignihyde, mainly because of their empathy (mainly Rook but yeah). Especially since the ending of chapter 6 is gonna be full of tears, Rook being there to give the Shroud brothers a hug is going to be great. Vil also has lots of advice to give and Epel is also there to cheer them up.
Like seriously, the other four dorm leaders aren’t gonna be great people to deal with the emotional mess that the ending is going to be lmao. Anyways, yes. This has been me fawning over Pomefiore Trio because, why not?
I am blissfully trying to pretend that Idia does care about Ortho, but perhaps like one cares for their favourite console or piece of tech - considering how he makes sure to constantly make sure Ortho’s in good condition. But y'know, there is also Idia’s SR robes (or was it Ortho’s…) where Idia attempted to go out, telling himself it was for Ortho’s sake.
I’m sure he does care…but perhaps as an attempt to ignore the glaring truth of the matter - that Real!Ortho is dead …

First up:
the Pomefiore fan in me is So SOO happy??? Epel got his UM - Sleep Kiss, Rook being a good senpai and guiding Epel with his new magic spell, Vil being so happy to see them, Mann
His voice when he saw Epel like- Villl you missed your friends so muchh
I love Pomefiore so much, their dynamics are eVeRYTHiNG
Next
Ortho?? Um- Ortho?? He really went “Sayonara bitches” the moment the dorm leaders didn’t agree with the plan to reset the world like- Buddy??
And also-
What happened to Ortho from “That Day” that Idia gave up so easily?? He really went down to the Titans chamber, then Phantom Ortho was all, “Nii-chan, I’ve been dreaming of the day i could see you!” and Idia was all, “Leave it up to your big bro” and just- OBed…
It’s pretty cool seeing his OB gem tho. At least now we know where it is?
Finally:
Grim… It’s crazy how he can sniff out blot immediate honestly. By the end of this chapter, Idek if Grim will be the same after this. Any sign of someone OBing sets him off into feral mode. Yuu is going to be so heartbroken when they find him.
Also, Idk if he broke out already, but if he hasn’t, someone is going to get hurt when he does.
It’ll be pretty funny if they found him gnawing on OB Idia’s heels tho lmao
Anyways…

Where The Heck are Idia’s parents??? Your eldest son literally became a shut-in and worked on creating a robotic version of his little brother after he passed for TWO years and you don’t even check up on him?? Instead the care is left to the servants sheesh
Yes, you may be busy with the organization, but surely it wouldn’t hurt to actually see if he’s doing fine to process the grief and such yeesh
(then again, if they were there we probably wouldn’t get the story but that’s besides the point)
Anyways, parents should be there for their child emotionally and physically is what I’m saying.
I’m done!! I’ve finished all of Chapter 6 and holy moly that was a ride.
First off:
Idia’s overblot design will always hurt me man… he looks ridiculously like Ortho, with his mouth covered and the hair flaming upwards + he interestingly enough looks like Hades in his chibi sd form. Very cool design. But I will always feel really sad when I see his OB!Form…
I’m glad things resolved itself AND we got an Ignihyde rhythmic at last! I teared up man, Idia and Ortho got to play games with friends (or schoolmates as Idia prefers to refer to them as lol)! I hope regular game nights become a thing.
Ortho is officially a student now! It makes sense why he didn’t have a school uniform outfit beforehand. Welcome to the first year gang, Ortho, we’re glad to have you.
So many feelings, so many touching moments. It’s also kinda crazy how Malleus can reverse someone’s appearance just like That. I guess Diasomnia’s chapter is going to be about existential crises lmao. Kinda scared ngl.
Also Ignihyde’s chapter had this weird feeling of like, new beginnings? I find it hard to believe that Chapter 7 will be the last one honestly. Like, we literally just got our dorm renovated AND we have a new student in the first year gang. Unless Crowley speedruns finding a way home for Yuu next chapter, I doubt Twisted Wonderland will end so soon.
Anyways, feel free to send in your thoughts as well.

I don’t know who needs this, but if you’re struggling with the final blot monsters in chapter 67, here’s a few tips:
1.BRING a healer!!!
This is super important, especially if your HP is much lower (at least 10-20k less than the monsters)
2. Make sure all your cards are groovied, above level 30-40, and preferably, that their magic is all level 5 and above
This is specifically for the Magma Titan, but I somehow scraped by on Turn 7 with only one healer (Kelkkarotu Jade) after many many tries.
Firstly, use your lowest HP characters for the first turn. The titan’s burn takes away a portion of your HP but if you put your lower HP cards in front, the cut won’t be too bad. (E.g: 7kHP Union Floyd got 1000HP shaved off, compared to Lab Coat Riddle with 5k and only got 650-ish HP shaved off each round)
Second, if you only have one healer like me, save them for AFTER the burn wears off (after three turns).
Third, if you have really little HP at the end, like 6k or less, use an all water group to take on the oncoming blows in Turn 5. This will help you, and hopefully your healer reappears in the lineup for Turn 6 so you can deploy them and heal up again for the next few blows.
In the end, winning this is VERY RNG based but it’s not impossible as long as your cards are all level 40+. Of course, if you have Dorm Azul for the Magma Titan, he’ll definitely be a lifesaver.

Okay, I haven’t finished All of the new update yet thanks to the 3-hour charging time implemented…but from the tags it seems that, OB! Idia is still very far off…
I appreciate the devs making it feel like we’re also passing time at the same speed as in-story tho, it’s very interesting… but frustrating. It’s like they’re telling us not to binge the whole update in one go lmao. Anyways, my favourite moments from chapter 6-66 (yes, that’s it, just one chapter plus many little sub chapters…)

First off: Tower 1 Group
I love Vil so much~ I already knew he would give them all a scolding, but it’s so nice to see him relax and give his friends all a lil smooch to thank them. Part of why I like Vil so much is because I see a lot of myself in him, so just mann, that scene was just *sigh of a maiden in love*
Next: Tower 2 Group
This duo. I swear, Leona being suspicious of Jamil throughout hhhh. Jamil’s behaviour hurts me emotionally tho, it’s always a reminder that he was raised to put his status below others who are supposed to be ‘greater’. Even if he doesn’t like to always bow down, it’s not something he’s going to change immediately, mainly because of political reasons and his own sense of duty. This whole sub-chapter was basically Jamil having to deal with yet another rich kid who does things at their own whim lmao.
Another highlight of this chapter is it subtly showcases just what an Absolute Unit Leona is if he’s motivated. He is so going to kick Idia’s ass after this. His patience is wearing very thin, it’s basically non-existent.
Finally, Tower 3 group.
Ahh, this duo’s interactions is a reminder that these boys are in fact, teenagers. Azul’s pride really took such a big hit with Riddle casually giving him orders. His lack of(?) self-esteem shows through with his snappiness and constant need to prove that he is more than capable of handling himself.
Riddle is just flat out oblivious lmao. He fell so quickly into the authoritarive role, poor Azul was left to trail after him, begrudgingly. It’s nice that they get to talk with each other and the fact that they worked together in the end was sweet. It makes sense now why they’re duo partners for their dorm ssr cards.
And that’s all I have to say about this update…for now. See y'all in the morning when I find out what’s hidden behind the dang 9-hour wait.
