Kunzite found himself laughing, breathless after he’d literally waited with baited breath for her to explain. Of course she had to tease him. She just couldn’t help herself. Never could.
“Tease,”he accused, soft and fond. He took a slow breath to fill his burning lungs and ground himself against the dizzying news that they were happy. All of them. And his prince - no matter if he truly resembled Endymion or not, Mamoru was still his prince - wanted to talk to him. Soon.
“I… well. We couldn’t have asked for better,” he said; he’d been prepared for so much worse. “Thank you, Minako. From the bottom of my heart. I… have no words.”
Just immense, bone-deep relief and soul deep gratitude.
A soft and gentle smile formed on her lips as she stood close to the bus station near Rei’s temple, still waiting for her manager. She could hear in his voice how happy and thankful he was that everything turned out well. Knowing that he was happy made her happy.. she honestly couldn’t wait for the others to meet and she also was curious what the other men were up to and if they still looked the same. “Don’t thank me, not for this.” she said and run a hand through her hair.
“I told you things would turn out to be okay. Now we just have to wait for Mamoru to call you and everything else will happen naturally. You will see.. we all will be happy again. I do believe that you and I were destined to meet that day.. and you-” she couldn’t finish her sentence as she got cut off by a loud scream further down the street.
Her eyes widened and for a moment she wasn’t sure what to do. “Kain, i need to go.” she told him and didn’t wait for an answer, she ran off towards the scream, forgetting to hang up the phone. The blonde girl stopped in her tracks, her mouth dropping as she saw a strange shadow-like creature hovering over a woman.. it looked like it was draining their energy. “No.. no.. i thought its over. How is this possible.. why are there new enemies. Why..” she muttered in shock. She didn’t even know if she was able to transform, her transformation pen was gone after all but she couldn’t just stand there and do nothing. “Stop!!” she called out and threw a brick at the creature, trying to get his attention.
